Chopard Now Selling Watches & Jewelry Online In The US
Chopard is the latest luxury company to use the internet for sales of their products. They join a long list of competitor brands such as Cartier, Montblanc, and Bell & Ross who are using the internet's reach and 24/7 availability to sell their products to interested consumers. I pointed out 4-5 years ago that online sales for luxury giants direct to consumers would be inevitable. Each few months more and more brands set up shop online with their own direct-to-consumer e-boutiques. Most people win, but arguably hurt are traditional brick-and-mortar independent retailers who will lose out on a lot of sales. What will their place be moving forward?Internet sales for the Swiss watch brand Chopard will currently only be available in the United States. In reference to my above statement (ironically), Chopard USA President Mr. Marc Hruschka stated that, "the watch and jewelry market has changed dramatically in the past four or five years thanks in great part to the rise of social media, a
ROO Diver Inbound!!

Do You Find Your Speedy Is Difficult To Wind..
I love my Speedy....but the crown is set so deep in the crown guards that it seems the only way to wind it is by the very sharp edges at the top..I'm not a large person; 6', 190lbs...and my fingers are average for my size....but it just seems that the design leaves something to be desired...Only the edge sticking out to be able to get a decent grip on seems like a waste of a very well designed crown...I mean, why have a large crown if you can only use the very end of it.. It would be perfect if it were screw down...then it would pop out for a full grip.Anybody else notice this ??
Incoming ! My wife hates this forum
Seriously, I didn't believe I'd add another watch to my collection, but you guys are serious enablers rofl. I was lusting over the Tudor day date pics and I just wanted to know how much they cost. Well, I stumbled upon DT watches and found a vintage Tudor 94613, and it was my birth year as well ! The price was jist too good to be true, so I pulled the trigger. Chance to get DSSD, got to sell GV though..
Hi all,Got a chance to get a DSSD (new) at an attractive price, however don't quite have enough funds to seal the deal.Got to flip my Milgauss GV black dial to do so. That will leave me with DSSD and Submariner C Date. Also in the mix is a GMT2 LN which I could buy without flipping my GV.A bit torn ATM, DSSD is awesome in every way to me. Just the one niggle, the date is a bit hard to see with my 48 Y/O eyes so not 100% perfect to me and for my preference. However, it's a DSSD !!!!!!! And I love everything else about it.Thoughts ?Best , Peter.
