Blancpain has introduced a new caliber to their L-evolution collection this week in Basel, and it unites both the tourbillon and carrousel complications into a single movement. The new watch is called the Tourbillon Carrousel, and it’s a modern take on the dual regulator with an openwork movement. Both the tourbillon and the carrousel are individually powered by their own barrels, and each are visible within the asymmetrical dial. Everything works together thanks to a trick differential and winding mechanism. cgi.ebay/OMEGA-Mens-SEAMA...ht_3100wt_1167Does anyone know anything about it? It's a pretty old watch but I like the simplicity of it and the overall look. Im seeing what ya'll experts say about it
New trend.. Wear your Patek upside down...

new to the scene
hi allIm totally newbie to the world of PAM... but ive had my head turned - and im learning what i like and what the values are with a view to buying one some time soon.ive worked thro, Breitling, omega, rolex and AP sampling the models i liked or could afford... with varying degrees of pleasure / dissapointment regarding the value retention when it comes to selling the watch on again.... (i cant keep them - i have to flip for financial reasons)so my question is - where about on the spectrum does PANERAI sit ??, referring to resale value.... (assuming i buy used from a dealer rather than new) - thanks in advance
After Manual Wind, Slight Rotation Necessary?
I noticed every time after manually winding, after I screw the crown back in, the watch will not start unless I give the watch at least a slight rotation. Is something disengaged and won't reengage until the rotor moves?I want to make sure it's working how intended.
