I see no one with Panda has a brown hornback.. So I photoshop'd!
It seems as though no one with Panda seems to have a brown horn back, but I was really curious as to how it will look. So, got photos from AP website and photoshop'd haha I personally think brown also goes really well with the panda...(at least in this pic...) what do you all think?
Omega AD 15% Discount
Went in to the only Omega AD anywhere near my area yesterday. The sales girl informed me that their company has negotiated with Omega and offers their watches at 15% off the MSRP.My intial thought is bullpucks that they basically just offer them at 15% off to move them. Am I correct in this assumption or do most AD's not really offer any discount right off the top? They actually had an OK selection but even at 15% off till you tack taxes back on you aren't saving even 10% off retail. I did not try to negotiate further as at that specific moment I was not ready to purchase another watch anyway. Does make me wonder if they would cut prices even deeper though.Thoughts anyone?
Itching for something new maybe a 663 or a 372?
Hi all,I'm itching for something new maybe something historic like the 663 or 372. I currently own a 1312 and would like something to complement it. Both pieces would probably see even wrist time as I would rotate them daily. I've been digging around the forums and 663/372 have caught my eye, however I have a couple of questions/concerns-1- I've never owned a timepiece with a plexi Crystal. Should I be concerned about scratches on the plexi? I really try hard to keep my watch is in mint condition and I'm worried that the plexi would show lots of wear. Am I just being paranoid?2- I like the idea of a larger case and 1312 fits my wrist nicely. Do you think that the larger 47 MM case would be OK on my wrist (see picture below)?Let me know your thoughts! Thanks in advance!!David
Incoming from Tony(JUSTROLEXES)!! Got the Blues!!
I spent years wanting a Daytona 116520 black dial, it's a large chunk of change for a watch, a nice-to-have, and I always kept putting off till next week, or next month, which turned into next year, yada yada yada. Then I'd get the bug again and look at Submariner's, thinking it's a little easier pill to swallow, then waffle again to just bite the bullet and wait to pay for the Daytona.Toss in during the years a Tag, an Omega SM, and a Longines, all Chrono's, to lighten the symptoms but never cure the disease.... Recently looking through this fantastic site, I came really, really close to the Datejust 41, smooth bezel, blue face as my next watch, but always heard this voice in my head:How can you own a Rolex without owning a Submariner? And then I saw a Rolex Bluesy, and much research began, and I realized I had to have the 5 Digit 16613 Bluesy...took my breath away, and it completes me.....The countdown begins, from San Diego to Toronto....tracking to be at my door by tomorrow afternoon
My 116710LN incoming
I've been waiting for my Black GMT Master II for a few weeks and it finally arrived yesterday. Had the local AD take out 1 link on the 6:00 side and voila!
