Cartier Calibre Diver Watch
Ready to dive in style? If you had to ask me what Cartier watch I'd want it would probably be something in the Calibre collection. If you had to ask me what Cartier watch I'd want and budget was not an issue, it would probably be the Calibre de Cartier Astrotourbillon. A few years ago in 2010 when the Calibre collection was released, it was to be the brand's new flagship men's model in a round case that also featured the brand's new in-house movement (the caliber 1904MC). While not without its quirks, I enjoyed it right away and the collection became a success.The original Calibre (reviewed here) was followed up with the Calibre Chronograph from 2013, and for 2014 Cartier will release the Calibre Diver. Romain Jerome Space Invaders Watches
The best part of these timepieces is easily the box. I wasn't allowed to take pictures, but Romain Jerome showed me a sneak preview of the Space Invaders watches back in March. The idea is to recall some of the fun and playfulness, as well as the novelty of the late 1970s video game. The box is actually a light box and you place the watch inside of it. Actually the watch is already placed inside of it and there are no doors, just a peep hole. If you want to remove the watch - consider it a fun challenge (like the game). Inside the box is a black light, then when lit illuminates the lume on the dial of the Space Invader watches. It is cool and fun, and perhaps better with LSD.For me, the funnest part of the Space Invader watch story is process of Romain Jerome getting the licensing for the product from Taito in Japan. No one has ever made a high-end watch involving a video game before (I've joked about it, but this is the first legit one). By the way, I first talked about these watches

RO Bracelet: Does the hair pulling stop?
I tried on an RO for the first time today and was strongly considering this piece for purchase. Absolutely stunning watch that pictures don't do justice to. But the bracelet pulled my arm hair badly. The boutique resized it for me twice to try and it still pulled noticeably even after we got the sizing right. I had red marks on my arm from where the bracelet tried unsuccessfully to tweeze my arm hair after wearing it for a only a few minutes. Does this ever improve? I'd be especially curious to hear from some of my fellow hairy guys. At this point I feel like I have to take it off my list unless there's a) a secret to getting it to stop pulling b) the hair pulling improves dramatically over time. I trim my arm hair every 3-4 months and it's at its shortest point right now; I can only imagine the pulling would be worse when I'm later in my hair growth cycle. Appreciate any thoughts, advice, etc. Thanks!

Hi,I am looking at buying this Panerai, it will be my first one. The price seems good at 4500€ (3500GBP or approx 5000USD), with all boxes and papers etc. It is from a good source, I have no questions about the authenticity. It is from 2009Is this a good deal, anything I should be asking specific to Panerai? I asked if the strap was original, he said yes, but from research I thought these came with rubber straps.What is resale like on this model?photos-
