A. Lange & Sohne Grande Lange 1 Luminous Watch
It is the heat of the night, and you are having an expensive watch wearing worthy good time. You go to look are your luxury timepiece in the dim lighting on the patio of that bar you like, and low and behold those lustrous gold holds show no luster in the dark. Time to rethink your evening timepiece selection, or you could instead seek out the relatively few high-luxury watches with luminant applied to them. While not a big deal for a Seiko, a lume covered German A. Lange & Sohne is a rarity. Here is their newest one, called the Grande Lange 1 Luminous. Larger Grande Lange 1 case (as opposed to the smaller standard Lange 1). Black dial, and just the right shade of retro green for the richly applied lume that makes up the hour markers and is all over the hands. A cool sporty Lange watch. Though, to actually refer to it as a sport watch, your idea of sports involves playing?? lawn croquet at night.Read more about the Grande Lange 1 Luminous watch in my article about it over at Haute
Help!
Hi everyone,I am debating if I should trade my ss rubberclad for a rg roc. My problem is that I have a daytona and once I get that rg roc it'll feel like the same watch. Also I am not gonna get rid of my daytona I have strong sentimental feelings toward it. So any suggestion? Or should I just get a pam 233 and call it a day.
Questions about ROC fit on small wrist
Well.. i finally got to try on a ROC today! I simply love the watch and dial and it was really tough to take it off. My questions to the experts here are..1. The bracelet does not seem to hug my small wrist as snugly as the Daytona. At the lugs, the bracelet feels very stiff and does not bend enough, leaving a gap between the bracelet and the wrist, if you know what I mean. I'm wondering if it will bother me that the fit is not just right and if there is some way to remedy this. Rubber strap option??2. Is this the newest clasp style? The blades on the clasp do seem a lot longer than Rolex blades and I'm also wondering it that will be another fitting problem.3. Through the protective plastic, I think it looks like this watch is an E serial. How old would that be? And what would be the model number of this watch? I saw some other letters like what appears to be 3135?4. How many removable links should be present on the bracelet? This is a pre-owned watch and there are 3 more removable l
Sell my Panerai 112 to fund a 3570.50.00 Moonwatch
I like my 112 (and my sub), but ever since I saw someone make a comment on here about them being a bit stockbroker 2006 I've kinda been thinking the same thing, especially as its not wondeful with a suit n double cuffs. Ideally I'd like to keep the 112, but financially it's an either or situation.I've statrted to think about the Moonwatch as being a bit more suitable for a 40 something officedweller. It has the dispaly case back and handwound movement appeal of the 112.Thoughts???
Owning both Aquanauts!
Hello, I'm pretty sure it's my first post other than a good transaction post for a seller. I have a simple question yet mind cluster for my self. I was wondering if you guys think a PP5167 and a PP5164 can live in harmony together. A little info, I currently own a 67 and love it, but I'm feening for a 64!However I also own a Rolex GMT Batman which I adore also! Would not need to sell it but still need to mention that. Are they (5167/5164) too similar ?Is spending $30k plus on a 5164 right choice when I can possibly troll the web for a Nautilus 5726A leather (I like straps and leather watches lately). I know it's all reall based on personal choice but I've always loved the Aquanaut line from Patek but worry of becoming too one dimensional!Thank you guys ahead of time for the help!-Frank
