Chinese Cell Phone Wrist Watches For U.S., Cool Enough I Don't Care If They Work Well
"Support incoming calls with big head sticker..." "Support incoming call vibration..." "Personality design and delicate craftsmanship, having flown line figure." These are some humorously translated and hefty promises for these quirky Chinese made phones that will operate on some US GSM phone carriers. All you need to do it place in your SIM card and you are good to go. Make sure your carrier is on the correct GSM frequency.I would have whined up a storm for something like this when I was a kid. Totally secret agent kind of stuff. I mean, it's not just a phone on your wrist, but the little color touch screen, pull out stylus, promise of media play back, Bluetooth, and other features just about makes me want to sink the under $200 into one of these phones to play with it. Prices start at about $130. Wearing one of these will make me look like a dork socially (note to Bluetooth headset wearers everywhere), but my young relatives would love it!You can visit the spec pages to read about th
Ceramic Chipping?
Guys, I really love the look of the Ceramic Diver but I have fears about cracking the case and/or chipping the ceramic. I've seen a few ceramic bezels on here that have chips in them. Where SS can be buffed out, ceramic requires replacement. Please chime in if you have had a ceramic piece from AP chip on you.
is this tritium or radium?
I had always thought that my Omega cal 600 had tritium lume on the dial considering the fact that it was produced in 1960, however i have never been totally sure.
best place to purchase 5711?
hey guys, newbie here. been lurking for a bit and finally made up my mind to get the 5711 blue dial nautilus. my only question now is whether there is a reliable/trustworthy online retailer i can purchase from? i am sort of in the middle of nowhere in upstate new york, and the closest AD is probably in new york city... i'd prefer to purchase online though because 1, i'm sort of lazy to get into the city and 2, i don't particularly care for having a NEED to have a manufacturers warranty as long as the gray market provider gives some sort of warranty and i get the original box and papers. (i plan to keep this watch for at least 10 years if not longer). i also hope to probably avoid some tax if i get it online which, 8% of $27k is a not a small sum to save.thanks a lot and appreciate any advice you guys can offer.edit: and what would be a fair price to pay?
Panerai Owners Club
I have not seen an owners club for Panerai on this forum. Is there one?If not, why not? We all seem to take a lot of pride in our watches. What image would you want as a .gif or jpeg to have as a signature? I would personally choose one of Traveller's photos, or HDHUNTER's or Aboen's 372 or Nishant's 305 or Takuya's 233 or or or so many to chose from.Anyway, if someone wants to donate a photo, we can have a little image with some text on it to include in our sigs like the Submariner Owners club I have in mine.Just a thought.Cheers! Sorry wrong sub forum, Can a mod lease move this?
