Watches NEWS
Welcome to the new Watchtime.com!
If you have been to this site before, you may have noticed some significant differences this week. Yes, has undergone a major facelift, with numerous upgrades that we feel will make it more useful, informative, interactive, and user-friendly. As those of you who read the print edition of WatchTime may already know, I have taken the reins of WatchTime’s online and multimedia editorial initiatives after five years as managing editor of the print magazine. Mike Disher, our former online editor, who blazed many of the electronic trails that I am now traveling, has moved over to the print side as our technical editor. The revamped website is the result of a major team effort, with input from myself and Mike; our WatchTime editorial, sales, and marketing teams, particularly editor-in-chief and associate publisher Joe Thompson; my right-hand guy and social media guru Jason Francisco; new managing director Dominik Grau; our German counterparts at WatchTime.net, the online component of ou
Casio F-91W Watch Video Showcases Popularity Among People We Love & Hate
A quick check online for prices of the Casio F-91W reveals that anyone around the world can buy one of these classic digital timepieces for about $10 - $20. Casio has been producing the F-91W digital quartz watches since about 1991 and continues to do so with the original reference F-91W, along with other variations that add on such luxuries as a metal case and bracelet. The basic F-91W comes in a black plastic case with matching strap and blue trim. Why is it that this classic digital tool watch continues to be so popular around the world, and why has it picked up a reputation for being a preferred timepiece by Islamic terrorists? Of course Casio happens to also be the watch worn by most US soldiers as well as the likely watch of choice (the G-Shock models) of armed forces around the world.Starting several years ago, the media started reporting on the fact that various intelligence agencies around the world were using wearing a Casio F-91W as one of several factors to help determine i
15400 quality issues?
Hi there,I'm very happy with my 15400, it's a stunner!Having said this, the thing has some issues that worries me. Bought it a month or so ago fresh from the AD. When I set the date only the crown seems to get stuck while turning it. Turning it slightly back and forth will solve it, but still. When I set the time, the second hand will hack, but when pushing the crown towards the case the second hand will not move. Only after i shake the watch a bit. And it runs +15sec/24h.I will wait a while to break it in, it's on rotation so I don't wear it often. I will wear it for the next month or so and wait what happens. If is doesn't get better I will sell it. I'm not going to wait 6 months for a repair on a brand new watch. Besides that, heard enough horror stories about AP's after sales.
Poll: PAM 312, PAM 233 or PAM 270??
