The Marcello C. Senatore, A Curious Wink To The Rolex Daytona That I Want To Get My Hands On
I've said some negative things about Rolex. I think they act really slow, haven't innovated much lately, and play it too safe. Regardless, Rolex has a few powerful classic designs under its belt. The two major ones for me are the Submariner lines, and the Daytona. Speaking of the Daytona, I understand that it is one of the most desirable watches on the planet from a demand standpoint, meaning more people want one, that can get one. Rolex has taken this opportunity to increase the prices dramatically. Meaning you can't really get one for under $10k. Sure there are legions of "imitations" that are simple low cost alternatives or play out fakes, but you aren't that type of person? You like the style, but you want something nice you can be proud of on your wrist. For me, this is a totally logical approach to satisfying a need. In-Depth: Twelve Of The Greatest Missing Watches, Including Paul Newman's Paul Newman, John Lenn
The intersection of politics and popular culture with wristwatches is undeniably fascinating. I mean, that's basically why I have a job. Equally fascinating is the pursuit of these timepieces at the center of this interesection by watch collectors, dealers, and auction houses. This is a short list of twelve watches that we know to exist, have serious interest in, but have seemingly gone missing. Aaron Faber
Aaron Faber Gallerys is a rip-off.They have a website: Aaron Faber clearly engages in highly questionable disreputable business practices:For instance, Aaron Faber offer, for nominal annual fee a so-called Collectors Club which allegedly offers a range of services to the serious collector. Arron Faber want people to pay a so called nominal annual fee for privileges that are basically worthless.Ed Faber touts himself as some kind of legend. However, his reputation based on excellent reliable sources is highly questionable. From a bona fide customers perspective he engages in the most ruthless of sharp business practices. From a bona fide customers perspective Ed Faber of Arron Faber engages in the most ruthless of sharp business practices treating his customers with total contemptible disrespect. In my opinion, I would seriously caution anyone to stay away......well away of Aaron Faber. I personally know someone who has been taken down by Ed Faber and Aaron Faber to the tune of tens of
