Speedy with an identity crisis
G'day folks,Got this little pearler a few months ago from our very own Fr John. Anyhow, I'm treating it a bit more like a PAM than a Speedmaster - hence the identity crisis. This watch has more shoes than I have (granted, this is not difficult)! I've narrowed it down to these two:1. A Hirsch Leonardo in black shark. Wears incredibly comfy, very durable with water resistant properties.2. A Stone creek gator. Brown with a great texture. Custom made and fits the Omega clasp. I am pleased to announce the imminent arrival of our bouncing badass baby brother. Not much to say - have been waiting for this baby 3 years, and am very happy and grateful to be able to welcome it into my collection. Picked it up from the London Salon for a really great price (worth mentioning - shopping experience in the salon is second to none. Got a bunch of freebies without asking, including the newest travel case with actual wood panelling on the side, and Patek umbrella, gloves and tie)Perfect watch in every way for me, everything that I expected it to be. First I would like to thank Jacques Degreef otherwise I could not share those pics. It was the first time in my life I saw a Patek 10 days tourbillon. This was already a good feeling. I can't describe how it felt when I was allowed to 'play' with it between 10.00 and 11.30 this morning.Those pics are the best I could do but believe me, this watch gives you shivers.I could always sell my house and buy this watch but I have a strange feeling my girlfriend would not like the idea LOLSo I better stop dreaming. Such a piece will always be out of my league.BUT, if you really like the looks and want something similar (without the 10 days power reserve and ofcourse without the tourbillon) you can always try the 5124.At the fraction of the price you get a very good looking dress watch.
Rolex Repair Near Wilmington, DE
Hello All:I live in the Wilmington, DE area and am looking for a reliable Rolex repair shop near me. I had a guy, but he has since retired and I have lost contact with him. I am willing to travel 50 miles away if need be. I'd like find someone in the Southern NJ area, Philadelphia/Southeastern PA, or possibly Maryland.I need to have my 2002 14060m regulated with a possible overhaul. I have not sent it to Rolex for the spa treatment since purchasing the watch. It's starting to run about a minute fast per day and I think it might be time to give it some special attention. I have a couple of Rolex AD's in the area, but they are just going to send it out to a Rolex Center and that's not what I want. Thank you for any suggestions.
