Just landed...
I haven't posted in awhile but just made my first vintage purchase ever (thanks to Achova).It's not a Rolex but I am already quite please with the new buy. It's a late 1960s Omega Pre-Moon Speedmaster with the cal. 861 movement. It's in great shape and I took it off the bracelet to put on a horween strap (originally purchased for my sub-c, though they didn't go well together). I have to admit that I now have the vintage bug and will probably only purchase those now. Hello Red Sub...I've included my Sub-C here so that there's some Rolex content.

Vintage Patek Question
Hey guys,A good friend of mine sent me the eBay auction below and asked me if he should buy it.He loves the look of it, but wants to know if the watch looks original and if the price is in line. He doesn't know anything about watches, so he asked me. TT Bluesy why so popular?
I am just curious why the TT Bluesy sub is so much more popular then the TT black face(which I happen to own. I really like the blue face and bezel, but I find it to be a little too flashy for me. Double the pleasure = Daytona SS ceramic 116500 white + ?
My AD has been very good to me this year!I received a call from my friendly AD asking me if I wanted an early Xmas present to accompany my Daytona SS ceramic in white that I picked up in February. ABSOLUTELY!! Even with the apparent scarcity of many SS models at ADs around the world, my AD received recently some pieces and gave me the opportunity to purchase a Daytona SS ceramic in BLACK!I thought my watch budget was all used up in 2017 but how do you turn down owning both new Daytonas in white AND black dials! Without a doubt I have been very fortunate this year :)Both white and black dials are stunning. I still like the white dial more; however, the understated black dial is growing on me and definitely wears differently and visually larger on the wrist. Time will tell which one I prefer more.
