Hi all Just a quick question I'm going to be pulling the trigger on an AP offshore diver I keep hearing that the White dial is rarer then a black dial?? I have a 1940s Premier Chronograph. Timekeeping is amazing and chronograph function works on all but bottom dial which won't reset! Would you know if it's a big job to repair? The dial and hands appear original and untouched. I'm based in London. Thanks

Will Omega Boutiques mean no discounts
Went into a Omega boutique yesterday and was asking about the new PO and what discount they could do, they said no discounts. I asked if this was only on the new PO or all models, they said it was across the range and Omega was hot on any of their boutiques giving discounts. Does this mean if Omega goes over to boutiques we won't see discounts anymore like you can get in an AD or was this boutique just telling porkies to get full price.
My 5980 & Happy 2018 TRF Members!
A while back on a thread I was discussing with a fellow member about giving RB a shot at my 5980 because I love the watch so much but the leather doesn't work for me due to the humid places I travel to, I also love being on the water so leather is always a problem. Plus I hate taking this watch off at a hotel or any other place that is not home. The fit is perfect. I was hesitant for this specific watch. I have RB on my Daytona for fun but this is different. I have to say that don't regret the choice one bit. This 5980 will be getting a lot of wrist action on 2018 including the New Year's Eve party I will be going to in Miami! See you later freezing NYC! Also I want to wish all the members here a prosperous and healthy 2018 so we can continue the great conversations and enjoying our toys for many years to come!
