Historical Perspectives: A Look At The Horological Society Of New York, Owners Of A Unique Watchmaki
Twenty-one years ago the Bulova School of Watchmaking in New York City closed its doors. As the staff was cleaning and packing, they came across an extensive library of horological books and ephemera. Some of the books were hand-bound in leather, adorned in gold leaf, with personal dedications from the authors. Others were extremely old, dating from the 18th century. In addition, they found hand-calligraphed meeting minutes and accounting records. All of these items comprised an incredible horological resource and they were not sure what to do with them. The staff needed to be out of the building at the end of the day and hand over the keys. Urgent calls were made and that same day a large van arrived to retrieve the library. The books were quickly piled into the van and driven off. AP Elephant Small Strap
Ordering an Elephant tomorrow, but have 6 wrist. Need a smaller strap than the stock one.Better to add an extra hole to the stock one or order a small strap? Where would I go about ordering a smaller strap from? Any recommendations?

Different Versions of Same Reference?
I posted about my vintage watch earlier today and that spurred me to do some research. Turns out its a ref 165.002. Looking online though, there seem to be several very different versions of this watch; including face and hands. Is this normal?Thanks a bunch, still learning.:)

Omega 300 1972 (still glows?)
Hi i am looking this watch over and it looks almost new! The lume glows bright and the movement looks untouched and spotless. Can any one see if there is something up or is it just a great watch from 72.Thanks

Is the BLNR really just a poor substitute for a Pepsi or Coke?
If the Pepsi or Coke were reintroduced in SS then BLNR prices would most likely drop lower than the all black bezel.
