Just arrived my newest family member. I was against the grayish bezel but it has grown on me. The Planet Ocean has always been an awesome watch but with the upgrades they made to this one. It is a true stunner. Here's a quick iPhone pic.

Thinking of downsizing to a 42mm Panerai...
I've owned several PAMs over the years, a 111, 000, 312, 287, 024 and currently a 233. Though I deeply appreciate the brand, I've somehow come to the conclusion that the 44-45mm size is just too large on my wrists (6.5 inches). I've been looking at the 42mm Panerai models and have been attracted to some of the Radiomir models (337, 514) but I am looking at something with a date. Also saw and admire the 184 which is somehow hard to come by. The Luminor 392 seems a bit too thick for me. I wanted to ask members experiences with handling a 42mm Panerai (Luminor or Radiomir) and if anyone can recommend something that is slim and with the date function. I guess I am looking for something with the overall Panerai aesthetic but somehow not too bulky on my wrist. Sausage or sandwich dial is fine. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Need advice, my first Rolex...14060 vs 15210 vs 16570
Hello all,Longtime lurker here. I have always been fascinated by watches and as I have aged I have fallen in love with the history of Rolex. I currently have an Omega Seamaster 2531.80 which I plan to keep. But I can't hold out any longer and want to get my first Rolex at the ripe age of 38.Aiming to keep it under $5,500 so looking at pre-owned Rolexes as the best bang for my buck. I currently have my eye on either a Sub 14060, a Rolex Date 15210 or a Rolex Explorer II 16570.Never realized the range of different emotions one goes through when getting ready to purchase their first Rolex. I love the Sub, cos well its the Sub. Love the Explorer II because of the value of what you get for what you pay. Love the 15210 for its simplicity and classic simple look.Would love to hear some opinions on which of those 3 you guys would lean toward.

Leather Straps for Rolex Clasp?
Does anyone have any experience with a company that could make leather straps for the Rolex clasp?Something similar to RubberB in terms of concept?Obviously leather would have to be custom made because you can't simply trim it like you can with rubber.I'd like a custom leather strap that would fit into the Datejust 41 clasp.Don't get me wrong, I love just about every Rolex bracelet, but I think the DJ can look nice on a strap and would definitely get something custom to try out.I don't know if it's worth the hassle because any regular strap and buckle can work, but something custom while using the clasp would be ideal.
