Given the status that Patek Philippe holds in the watch community, I can safely hold them to a very high standard - even in their marketing. Starting in August of 2010, Patek Philippe will roll out a new advertising campaign for its womens watches. Watch advertising is crucially important because they make important value propositions to consumers, as well as communicate essential branding information that relates to how people perceive brands and luxury watches over all. Given that, I find it hilarious when I see an ad that makes me think about having a three-way.Which is exactly what Patek Philippe's new slogan (as presented here) sounds like a pick up line for. Not just any three-way, but an inter-generational one. "Hey mom, daughterdon't you agree that something truly precious holds its beauty forever? Can I interest you two in some Champagne?" Hello I hope the Rolex Community can give me some advice please as a newbie.I've owned a few Rolex watches but am looking at getting a new Daytona.Can you tell me why there is such a price increase over RRP and an extensive waiting time for the Daytona 116500LN but I am able to get a new Daytona 116503 for list price in the UK?Also what is the difference in these 2 watches (except price) other than the 116503 is Steel with Yellow Gold?Am I missing something and is the 116500LN ultra rare and the one to own?

Question about customized rolex and RSC.
So I am planning on buying a Rolex watch (customized with tiny diamonds) from Beckertime. I asked him if Rolex would approve of it as genuine if I sent it to them to which he replied: Rolex will not approve of this Rolex because it has a custom refinished diamond dial. If it is important to have Rolex approval, you can only purchase a Rolex that is 100% Rolex. Rolex considers any watch that has been customized to no longer be an original Rolex. Rolex will not approve or service any Rolex that has been customized. Is this accurate? Do Rolex consider customized watches as non-genuine? If so is there any other way I can get it checked if its real or not, that is the Rolex watch? Don't get me wrong I fully trust Beckertime; I just have a paranoia when it comes to counterfeits.
