Ralph Lauren Sporting Watch With Elm Burl Wood Dial
I recently learned that this watch does not yet have an official name. It will sometime next year. This is a new version of the Ralph Lauren Sporting watch. It has an elm burl wood dial and face that is meant to evoke the interior of one of Ralph Lauren's cars from his personal collection - a 1938 Bugatti (that is as sexy as a top model). A Week On The Wrist: The Panerai PAM 560 Luminor Base 8 Days Acciaio With The In-House 8 Day Caliber P.5000
This is the most stripped-down watch in Panerai’s current collection and it also represents the entry level price into the world of Panerai in-house movements. It’s actually a relatively new movement – the caliber P.5000 was introduced only two years ago and back in 2013, HODINKEE founder Ben Clymer took a look at the watch in which it was introduced: the PAM 510, which has a seconds sub-dial at the 9:00 position. In case you’re not up on Panerai history, the use of an 8 day movement with small seconds is an homage to that history; Panerai used 8-day movements by Angelus in some of its earliest watches (along with Rolex movements based on Cortebert ebauches).   1 OF 7 The PAM 560 is newer than the movement – we saw it for the first time at the 2014 edition of the SIHH, and the feeling we have is that it’s part of a general move across the board to make all Panerai watches powered by in-house movements. New ROO Goliath
Hey guys. I just found out there is a new ROO called Goliath. There are 3 Versions. RG (limited to 12 pcs), WG(limited to 12 pcs) and SS (limited to 48 pcs). Each one apparently comes with 2 extra straps (Blue rubber and Orange rubber). Here are some pics: SS (Blue strap) then WG(orange strap) then RG.What do you guys think? Anyone has more info?

Rolex Bezel color changes
I collect some glass items and some Illuminate when a black light is shined on them. So years ago I picked up a small handheld Blacklight flashlight. I also recently picked up a BLRO. Tonite I decided to see if a black light would charge the lume any differently. To my amazement it did something really weird to the Blue/Purple half of the bezel. When the black light was illuminated the Blue dissapears and it turns the bezel all Red/Cranberry. I bet it also works on the BLNR.If you also want to see something really weird if you or you wife have any diamond jewelry shine a blacklight on the diamonds. Some of you may discover something you never knew about diamonds, kinda like this bezel.
