Service Experience
Hi all,So, took ownership of a new 15400 in June. It has been running about 5 minutes/day fast whilst on my wrist, and about a minute a day fast when it is not. How has your experience been with AP service? I emailed them, and the guy got back to me promptly. I'm curious to know if you were satisfied. It is still under warranty (for another 2.5 years), so it shouldn't cost me anything. Additionally, I've dinged her up a bit (almost daily wearer, now) and they quoted 250 to polish up the piece. If anyone has done that, does this include a bezel replacement?I'm a little hot after a 500$ Omega servicing that did almost nothing, considering in that instance I DIDN'T want the bracelet polished. Thanks in advance, guys.JJustinOmega SMP (1x Iraq, 2x AFG, still ticking)AP Royal Oak 15400, White
I Have a G Series Rubber Clad on the Way, Where to Buy New Strap? Pics Once its Here
I have a Rubber Clad on the way. Hopefully this time it will be authentic (for those of you that saw my last post and thanks again for pointing out the replica through the pictures). Pictures will follow once it's here, hopefully today or tomorrow. The band was replaced with a Hornback strap but it shows wear near the mounting pins on one side. Where is a good place to pick up a new or used in good condition authentic AP (possibly hornback again) strap for a somewhat reasonable cost?
From 42mm to 36mm and back
I have a bit of a conundrum. I have a SS SkyD which is my daily driver at the moment. My other watches are a Tag chrono (40mm) and an Omega seamaster chrono (41.5mm). My wrists are a tad under 7.I've always liked the DD, and have been eyeing the 118238 or a 18238. I went to a AD and tried one on and it felt so small. It didn't look right but I'm assuming it's because I haven't warn a 36mm since who knows. Does anyone here alternate often between a 36mm and a larger watch? Am I just so used to 40mm+ that 36mm will always feel small? CheersRSent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk

Serviced at the London RSC, away for 8 weeks. Back on my wrist yesterday. It's like getting a new watch for Christmas:
