Omega Speedmaster 3220
Hi Omega enthusiasts, I am extremely interested in this watch here: .omegawatches/gents/sp...-date/32205000, 40 mm will be perfect for my semi- small wrist. Here is the problem, this Speedmaster has an Omega Calibre 3606, which I read is based on the Valjoux 7751 movement. What is the vibration per hour on this watch, is the seconds hand smooth like a 28800 vph movements? I owned a midsize Omega seamaster blue dial, and the second hand was choppy, hopefully someone can tell me this one has 28800 vph. Thanks friends.
Patek 5930 Real World Experiences?
I am wondering how many have had a chance to see or even own the Patek 5930 world timer? A world timer is a watch I yet to own and because of my travel and many calls with associates around the world would be a complication I might use. However my major concern is the readability of the dial.. My eyes are not young and wonder how it compares to other world timers or equivalent pieces. Would love to hear from those who have experienced in real life. Thanks in advance.
Watches spotted in the wild
Since I became clued up on watches I tend to try and see what others may be wearing when out and about. My last contract had me passing through Central London and the most common Rolex watch I saw was a Daytona.Never saw a Hulk or an precious metal watches. And i've seen a single BLNR and a Sub.Most common watch in general tends to be an Apple WatchSo the question is, where are they all? Locked away as investments or never worn? I've only ever seen one other Hulk and that was in a AD.
New Air-King
Been eyeing this watch for some time now. Just something about it that I love. Picked it up on Saturday.
STATE OF THE COLLECTION....and considering a flip
I haven't made any changes to my little collection in almost two years now, but I seem to be developing an itch. I'm considering buying a DJ41 with Jubilee bracelet, fluted bezel, and white face. I've never owned a Jubilee, and now that it has an easylink I feel the need .I reduced my collection from 6 to 4 a few years ago (with plenty of flipping along the way) and really don't want to have more than 4 again, so I would probably sell my Explorer II. I suspect the DJ would make an interesting variation. I'll put pictures in the next post (as soon as I've switched to Tapatalk), and will appreciate any opinions....
