Introducing The Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic Skeleton: An Automatic Skeleton for Under $1,200
Skeletonized watches are not generally known for being wallet-friendly. All the extra engineering and handwork required to create a sturdy, beautiful, open machine drives prices upwards. But as part of their collection for Baselworld 2013, Hamilton is introducing an automatic skeleton for under $1,500 with the Jazzmaster Viewmatic Skeleton. Here's your first look.Housed in a 40mm stainless steel case is a special new skeletonized movement from ETA (a fellow Swatch Group brand) that is 100% exclusive to Hamilton. The entire package has a very 1960s vintage look to it, from the thin profile to the shape of the lugs. The lighter silver material on the dial is the "dial" itself, while the darker grey is actually the movement plates which have been integrated into the openworked dial for a multi-layer look. 2 OF 3 Viewmatic - Two Tiered Dial Made Up Of A Dial Proper And The Movement Plates Instead of going for an ornate filigreed skeleton, Hamilton has opted for the more
5711 vs 15202 based on my current line up.
Hey guys,Yes it is this repetitive thread once again, and I apologise for it.I have posted it on the Patek forum, and notice the 5711 outnumbering the AP jumbo, however I would like to see how biased it was, considering it was the PP forum.I currently own a SS Rolex for an everyday use, a speedy that was given to me as a gift, and a Reverso as my dress watch.I find the PP and AP both to be very versatile watches, and would be wearing them dressed up and down.I like the dial of the PP much more, but the bracelet and presence of the AP a little more. The 5711 also is attractive since it is a Patek, if that makes any sense.I really appreciate everyone's opinion.Have a nice day.Edit. Damn, was meant to have a Poll here Any way to add it now?
