Future Diving With N.O.A; The 4.80 Scyllis Dive Watch
Yes, this is undeniably a nice watch, with a futurism industrial twist. It most reminds me of the style seen on mid 1990s nautical-themed science fiction TV show, "Sea Quest." Notice the "techy" font used for the numbers and the rounded edges combined with sleek ridged rubber and you will know what I am talking about. Diving watches are probably the most popular segment of watches because they combine a legible style, good looks, and rugged endurance. Easily my favorite, I could outfit my entire collection with diving watches and be perfectly happy.N.O.A is an interesting watch maker stealing the stoplight with its unique designs that combine fluid organic lines, futuristic looks, and practical features. The name actually stands for "None Of the Above." The 4.80 Scyllis is easily my favorite watch from the maker, and it is their first attempt at a dive watch! We can thank N.O.A for the Scyllis name which means "sailor" and is more than a combination of the typical marine terms that com
Bring a Loupe: A Very Rare Panerai, A Great IWC Ingenieur, A Stylish Movado, And Much More
This Bring A Loupe covers a few brands that rarely make it into BaL: a rare platinum Panerai or a crazy Movado Super Sub Sea, it really feels they deserved a spot this week. You will also find a stunning Zodiac, a great IWC Ingenieur, and an intriguing watch from Ochs and Junior. This is your last Bring A Loupe for December 26, 2015. A Panerai Radiomir Reference PAM21, Complete With Rolex Movement 1 OF 10 Broadly speaking, Panerais can be divided into three periods: vintage with most of the production around World War II, then pre-Vendome between 1993 and 1997, and finally Vendome (Richemont). Their relative desirability also follows this simple pattern, if we want to simplify things. The Panerai PAM21 is one clear exception to that simplistic rule: while it was only launched in 1997, Paneristis consider it as one of the most covetable references. This Radiomir has a 47 mm platinum case housing a manual-wound movement from Rolex, matching the earliest production fr
Can someone post real pics of rose gold 15400 with Blue Dial?
I believe this is a model yes? Or will that be a 15202?
Speedmaster apollo soyuz 311.30.42.30.99.001
Hi all, So I signed up here determined to find out more about Rolex watches and eventually to get me one. But a couple of weeks ago I discovered this Apollo SOYUZ watch - and I think instead of Rolex I now want to buy me one of those.Would any owners like to share their findings in regards to this watch - issues or otherwise?Regards, -V
Incoming ;-)
Hi fellow Trf-membersA lot of advice, watch-surfing, a little enabling and not a lot of common sense ;-) has finally let me in the direction of my first Patek. Had a trip to Rome, Italy, planed with my two children and by chance I found a mint unworn 5711 blue dial in a shop in Rome I know from before. It's a short flight from Denmark and I go there a couple of times a year to relax, sightsee and enjoy the Roman cuisine ;-)This spring I picked up my first PM watch (116718LN) in Rome so it has been a nice watch-year for me ;-)Tomorrow we are flying to Rome and I'll pickup my new watch in the afternoon if all goes by plan. I have an option on a 5712 but I'm pretty confident that I will be posting pics of a 5711 in the Roman sun tomorrow ;-)Thank for the advice, guidance and not least patience. RegardsAlexander Ps. Feel free posting a picture or two ;-)RegardsAlexander116718LN GN, 116600, 116200, 116610LV
