Maitres du Temps Chapter Three Reveal Watch
Round watches are certainly in again this year. Well round watches are pretty much ALWAYS in - though for high-end brand Maitres du Temps a 42mm wide round-cased watch is a bit unexpected. Nevertheless, that is exactly what the new Chapter Three Reveal watch looks like. For their third creation Maitres du Temps goes super classic in design, and offers a neat set of complications worth of the Maitres du Temps name. The Maitres du Temps Chapter One was a massively sized watch with an incredible amount of complications. The Chapter Two was a sort of baby Chapter One with a more simple movement and more wearable size. Each of those watches has tonneau style cases (well, mostly). What endures over to the Chapter Three from the other two models is the use of rollers in the movement to indicate information. Rollers will apparently be a signature element of Maitres du Temps timepieces.Like all Maitres du Temps watches, the Chapter Three is a collaborative effort with the brand and two very spec
Introducing: The Montblanc Heritage Chronomtrie Collection Twincounter Date
Yesterday we talked about the new Montblanc Heritage Chronométrie Annual Calendar Chronograph, and today we are taking a look at the new Montblanc Chronométrie Collection Twincounter Date wristwatch – an equally elegant, well-made, and affordable watch to be officially released at SIHH in a few weeks.? 1 OF 2 Montblanc, as you may know, has had quite a major resurgence in recent years in their design and quality. They have released some pretty cool watches of late, including the 1858 Chronograph Tachymeter, the Villeret Tourbillon Cylindrique Geosphères Vasco da Gama, and the Heritage Chronométrie Quantième Annual Calendar. As Ben mentioned yesterday, Montblanc CEO Jerome Lambert pulls a lot of his inspiration from his time at Jaeger LeCoultre and A. Lange & Söhne, and that is apparent in the design
Your Thoughts on the 1957 reissue of Speedmaster
HiMy current Omega collection includes the Omega Seamaster from the 50s/60s that were bequeathed to me by my parent. The said collection had me thinking about going for a vintage Omega Speedmaster but was too afraid to take the plunge especially with the current price as well as availability of said vintage timepiece. With Baselworld 2017, I am heartened to note that Omega is releasing the Trilogy collection with said timepieces also available individually. And I had my eye on the reissue Speedmaster. May I get your thoughts on the said 1957 reissue? I would certainly like to add it to my reissue collection. Many thanks in advance!
My second Omega .... Blown away!
Words cannot describe the beauty of this watch. I'm still pinching myself and picking up my jaw from the floor everytime I look at it.I am still stoked and have the major butterflies after picking this up. I didn't imagine I would actually go through with it but I did. Walked into the local AD and after I saw it...BAM...It was love at first sight and then said to myself...Dam, shouldn't have come in here LOL.Did I mention I'm still picking up my jaw from the floor.....Enjoy the eye candy cause there is ALOT of it below :)

Guys,I have been racking my head picking up a new watch for the last 6 months. I currently have a blue Omega SMPc (my daily watch). Here are my choices:A. Sell or trade in the Omega and buy a Rolex GMT II 116710LN (need the funds to purchase this piece).or B. Keep the Omega and buy a Panerai as a second piece. My dilemma is; I love Rolex as a brand (always have), but none of the pieces scream buy me (including the 116710LN). It's a great watch, but there is something about it on my 7.75 inch wrist that makes me scratch my head in doubt. In addition to my full-time job I work a side job for a high end catering staffing company. I worked an event last night and of course being a WIS my sole purpose is to check out someones wristwatch. All the younger guys (30-45) that I saw had a Rolex of some sort on. The watches they had on looked great, but nothing jumped of their wrists and said wow to me. The event was at a high end family jewelry store. They sold watches (oris, Lumin
