Greubel Forsey Opens New Manufacture
Greubel Forsey has consolidated its activities within new headquarters and workshops in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The dedicated building, located close to the Eplatures airport, is the new to home to the four companies created by Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey, and jointly run by the two founders along with CEO Emmanuel Vuille: Greubel Forsey, CompliTime, CT Design and CT Time. Over one hundred people will move to the new location from the Ancien Mange and other sites where Greubel Forsey started. The new workshops are composed of two distinctive buildings: the first is a 17th century farmhouse renovated by Mr. Gilles Tissot, an expert in the renovation of Neuchatel-style historical buildings. Super Ocean
I have this beauty for 10 years now and 3 bracelets later I had her serviced in Germany when I stayed their for 4 month. She started running behind quit a bit! It took about 8 weeks to get her back but they did an awesome job and she looks like BNIB and runs like a champ!!The case and bezel had some scratches and after they polished the watch she doesn't have any marks left. After having two leather bracelets I decided to go with the rubber one this time and like the band and the clasp alot.I really think that the rubber will hold up a lot longer then leather
Patek exhibition London
Firstly if anyone gets the chance to visit this event at the Saatchi gallery London go for it. I've just returned from spending a Couple of days in the capital and visited the exhibition on Saturday and Sunday. Amazing exhibition and top marks to Patek. So here's just a snippet of my weekend 🍻 The original Patek aviator watch Some beautiful enamel dials 😍Artist at work Hand engraving I had the pleasure of also chatting with one of the watchmakers based at the UK service centre who kindly let me handle his watch that he had made himself from scratch as part of his coursework if you should happen to pick up the grand master chime this is the box you will receive to compliment it . Sorry if the pics are a little jumbled guys but I've got that many and not much time to post so these a just a few Radom shots. Again if you get the chance to visit the exhibition go for it 🍻
How does this look to you?
