Watches NEWS
BEST FROM: watches-dealer & Friends February 13, 2015
I'm sure readers of this site will agree that one of the interesting, albeit more scarcely discussed elements?of?watch collecting is how desirable vintage watches - sometimes even important ones - are still being discovered now and then. These things don't happen all the time, obviously, but recently, an important discovery was made. A never seen before vintage Heuer Chronomatic was uncovered. And what's impressive about it is that it is believed to be one of Heuer's very first automatic chronographs and could very well be the oldest automatic Heuer chronograph watch in existence now. And this month, we retrace the story of how it was found. We also check out?one of my favorite watches from SIHH 2015, the new Montblanc Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum, and compare it to other worldtime watches that are on the market right now. Then, we?take?a closer look at one of my dream watches, the very rare and awesome Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Grande Complication - only one of three in the
Excellent Vestal Men's ZR3003 ZR-3 Chronograph Gunmetal Black Dial Watch
You do not want to brag or anything, but when you said that it is large, you were not bullshitting. To withdraw your sleeve and allow everyone to take a gander in the envy of the ZR-3 of the Vestal watch. The face of 52 mm and stainless steel band big, hard enough to inspire all of your buddies go out and buy oversized monster-trucks to offset.
Please plaese help!!!!
Hi Guys,I bought my first AP 2 months ago. It is the titanium grey themes ROO on a bracelet. I absolutely love the watch but have not enjoyed it as much as I like to because I've been afraid to scratch it up. I have many other pieces/brands that I've put through the ringer and while they do have that custom patina, they still look great. On the other hand I've seen some ROO that have scratches to the bezel and they just don't look right to me.So my dilemma is1. Keep the watch and just use more often, then let APSC polish if needed2. Trade for the 44 mm ROO SS/ceramic or 44mm ROO FC/ceramic3. Trade for ceramic diver or ceramic/FC diverAny input would be greatly appreciated.thanks and happy holidays
Out the door she went
Some days are different than others...Today mark the day where my beloved AP15300 left me for a new home. 2 Weeks ago, the same happened to my 116520 black dial. The only one left is the sub date but I don't think I will hold to it really much longer.I spent some good time at my AD on different occasions lately. I found myself wearing a nautilus... I don't know much about what is happening but I kinda got the PP disease. I was hypnotized by the 5711 and I hear it all the time saying my name throughout day and night. Is this just a temporary situation or it tend to stay and the only way out is to break the seal opened ?Help me find a relief, or did I do something wrong by letting these go
New 372 Friday - Hallelujah!
Today was a great day my friends and I just wanted to share a few pics with you fellas. After weeks of debating back and forth between the classic luminor style 372 and the newly released radiomir style 587 I finally decided crownguard for the win and took delivery of this beauty below. This one is so versatile that it really can dress up/down to a serious extent. The strap is fresh from leather master and great friend Greg Stevens himself in case anybody was wondering - thanks for looking fellas!
