Johann Rupert Assumes Richemont CEO Role Effective April 1, 2010
Richemont has announced that effective April 1, 2010, Johann Rupert will assume the role of CEO, replacing Norbert Platt who will retire at the end of the year for health reasons. Mr. Platt will remain as a director of Compagnie Financi��re Richemont SA and will act as an advisor to the Group. Mr Rupert commented as follows:“Since he took up the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2004, Norbert has achieved remarkable results in terms of building the Group, rationalizing its operations and improving our logistics infrastructure. Over the period we have seen a dramatic growth in sales and profitability at Richemont, even if the crisis of the past year has impacted the luxury goods industry so negatively.Richemont’s philosophy is that our Maisons should operate largely autonomously, whilst benefiting from the Group’s central and regional support services. Finally pulled the ROO 44 RG trigger
I first let my RG ROO 42 go many years ago and had been eyeing the 44 ever since it was released but it just didn't win me over enough to pull the trigger. Then when the new 44 ceramic was out it almost had me but I was set on a RG but loved the black face theme. So finally when the new black face RG surfaced it had me and was exactly what I was waiting for so the search began. I confirmed my decision after trying it on at AP in Beverly Hills and after a few weeks of serious hunting she is arrived. I have had quite a few significant time piece purchases over the years but this is easily my favorite. 007's Planet Ocean
I've noticed Daniel Craig sporting this Planet Ocean in Casino Royale and in the new Quantum of Solace...or is it the smaller 42mm version? It looks a bit smaller on his wrist than if it were a 45mm. Does anyone know? Does anyone have this watch or can you point me to a good review on it.In any event, it is one helluva a tough looking watch and one I'm thinking about wearing myself.

Does anyone have any experience with these? I have been looking at a date model (ref# 3513.30) and really like them.Pros/Cons and acceptable prices to pay?Any information would be really helpful.
