Casio "Shock The World" Event Celebrates 30 Years Of G-Shock
G-Shock creator Kikuo IbeThis past week, Casio held their annual Shock The World event in New York City. We were on hand to witness the formal unveiling of several important upcoming models, and to partake in the festivities surrounding this year's special theme C 30 Years of G-Shock. Special guests Jessica Stam, James Marsden, Book Lopez, and Louie Vito joined executives from Casio and hundreds of press, retailers, and VIPs to mark the occasion, which was topped off by none other than The Real Slim Shady himself C Eminem (which was awesome).Keeping with their tradition of going over the top, Casio announced not one or two C but almost a dozen new lines, models, and special editions. Also teased were new Ultimate G-Shock models coming in the next year: the Ultimate Iceman; Ultimate Heatman; and Ultimate Frogman. We will go into more detail with each in the near future, but for now, here's a quick overview of new highlights from G-Shock. Note that these are some, but not all of the ne
I did the inevitable, burned a hole in my pocket again...
I did it again... Wasn't really interested in this piece at first due to the heft, but after seeing it on the wrist of a certain AP CEO here in HK and him taking it off for me to try again, I did the inevitable....Every time, I tell myself to stop buying, it just doesn't happen...I must say though, it's growing on me every second... The tantalum and rose gold is a great match this way. Not over blingy!
Speedmaster Pro panda dials
After 30+ years of serial watch buying, I somehow skipped over the Speedy Pro until just a couple months ago and I am mildly addicted already. I picked up a NIB Pro and was then reading as much as I could about them. That led me to the Mitsukoshi dial mod and I sourced the dial and handset which are getting scarcer every day. I got my watch swapped over last week and although I love the standard black dial the new white panda dial with silver handset is stunning. I know there have been several white and white panda dial variations but the only reverse panda I'm aware of is the recent Speedy Tuesday. Have there been any others in the past?
Help me, please! I don't know the model!
Hi guys!I am sorry to use my first post to ask for help, but I would love to finally discover what is the model of my Patek Philippe! It belonged to my Grand papa, he must have bought in the 1950's or 60,s, I'm not sure. I don't have the box. Its made of rose gold (I guess) the band and the case. Also, I would like to know how much it's worthy, more or less. Please, I am not trying to sell the watch, I just want to have an estimative! Thanks very much!
Definitely, Patek owners have good taste
I received the marvelous present from Oboema Sesetokoe, many thanks again Matthijs.Do you notice it fits perfectly with the watchSo if you want to wear a Patek tie, then you have to buy a Patek watch
