If I say Seiko, you are probably thinking about affordable, value-for-money dive watches like the Orange Seiko or maybe even the Sumo. While it is true that Seiko is most well known for its bang-for-buck divers, did you also know that they make minute repeater watches? Not just any minute repeater, mind you: we are referring to a one-of-a-kind minute repeater that uses Seiko's unique Spring Drive technology. The watch I'm talking about is the epic Seiko Credor Minute Repeater.Still on Seiko, we also check out a very special Grand Seiko that's regulated to very high standards, +3/-3 seconds per day, in fact, almost rivaling the standards that Patek Philippe sets for watches bearing its Patek Philippe Seal.We also check out SevenFriday's latest V-Series watches. In keeping with the spirit of the brand, the new V-Series watches are unlike anything else on the market. Telling time on these watches can be a little tricky and requires knowledge of basic addition. Lastly, we turn our attentio
Scratches on ROC bracelet
I wasn't being extra careful on my ROC's bracelet since the bracelet on my previous ROO grey was quite scratch proof. While cleaning my watch yesterday,I was quite surprised to see a small hairline scratch on my barely one month old 26331st. Seems like the bracelet on ROC is more prone to scratches?Already gotten over it...just being curiousSent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
Opinion Needed please!
I am really close on picking up a 5146, a watch that has been on my Grail list for quite a long time!So far the problem has been trying to finding one at an AD so I can actually try one on and compare! Finally after months of visiting Ad's and Second Hand dealers I came to one conclusion and that was that I really liked the Cream Dial! However, I am really stuck between the color of Gold that suits my style! I am in love with both the WG and YG for different reasons. I find the WG to be under the radar and simple enough to wear with anything. Yet I find the YG really stunning and it really pop's the dial and show's it real beauty. So could you please share your opinion on which one looks better on my wrist and also your thoughts as to which one would stand the test of time in the long run.thank you for looking.
First time Panerai - strap advice
Spent a couple of months searching for the perfect watch for summer. Out on the boat and by the beach most weekends so was searching for a rubber strap watch which looked good and was nice and solid so I wasn't too precious about it.Panerai caught my eye! Then I saw this beauty with no complications which I wanted so I can just chuck it on, set the time and go.Problem is I didn't think it looked that great on the rubber, so now it's on the leather and looks awesome. But how well will the leather stand up to getting wet? Are there any rubberised composite leather type straps available for this watch? Would consider using one of those to get the functionality whilst keeping this look. Thanks for any advice and I will carry on enjoying the watch!
Pam Strap
I have been posting info on the wrong type of strap i recently picked up ! Come to find out it is a calf strap still but it comes off a 2002 Purdy 155 with the yellow unboxed stitching . And is more of a brownish type than anything , would this look better on a steel model or titanium !!!!!
