Introducing: The MB&F LM101 Limited Edition For HODINKEE C Ten Pieces, In Stainless Steel
I really believe in what independent brands like Max Büsser and Friends (MB&F) are doing, and even more so, what they mean to the industry. Independent watchmaking is practically an entirely different world from those large group-owned brands, and I have long admired what many of them have been able to do, really, against all odds. And that is why today, I am proud to announce that we have partnered with MB&F to create a very special watch, just the way we think you, HODINKEE readers, would like it – 40 mm, with an insanely fine finished in-house movement, limited to 10 pieces, with three straps designed by us. Finally unwrapped and took my first AP out to catch some sun! Still can't stop staring at it..
Singaporean AP brethren...some advice!
Hello all,I will be making Singapore a one day layover en route to other parts of asia (originally it was Bangkok...but the situation there isn't exactly friendly right now)any advice on what to do? things to see? places to eat (one very special dinner)? I will be staying at Marina Bay Sands (bucket list to stay there and swim in the pool)AP boutique is on my list. but anything else?
Anyone getting bored by the RO Jumbo ?
I mean after a while the simple watch is just dull and feels nothing interesting about it and then you realize you paid so much $$$ for such a simple fragile looking watch?? Anyone feeling this and having regrets over this piece?
Help with Speedmaster Purchase
I'm thinking of buying a Speedmaster , there are so many models I thought I'd asked the experts before taking the plunge. I have narrowed it down to 2 (i think) 1) ref 3570.50 Moon watch or 2) ref 3507.51 Micheal Schumaker edition , black with white subdials. Which one would you recommend for first speedmaster or any other suggestions
