Omega Case Restoration?
Hi All,I recently purchased a Speedmaster Date and just found a small nick in the side of the case. Are there any shops you would recommend to refinish an Omega watch case and return it to mint condition?I'd like to avoid sending it to Bienne or NJ considering it's just a cosmetic blemish as it's very new and doesn't need anything near the magnitude of a standard overhaul.I'm located in Nashville, Tennessee and would prefer to deal with a shop face-to-face (can travel out to Atlanta, GA, no problem), but am not counting out shipping my watch out for the repairs to be done.Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Anyone know dial options for a DJ36?
Now that I just purchased a BLNR, I am ready to send in my 1986 16013 Datejust for refurbishment. Thought I'd also get the dial changed from black to ?? while it's in the shop. Leaning towards blue, but wonder what other options are available besides champagne or white. Not looking for bling, just something classy and perhaps slightly unique.

While my butt took most of the force of the fall ( I know because it is still sore 24 hours later ), I think I might have broken the fall abit with my wrist, which of course, had my beloved 114060 strapped to it . While there seems to be nothing wrong with time keeping( fingers crosse), I fear I might have dislodged/loosened something? Every time I shake the watch I can hear a very very low pitched whirl of the rotor . Compared to my seamaster, everyone would've called this whirl inaudible. But I'm just paranoid ! I can't remember if this whirl was there before the fall ! Granted I have pretty excell
Cleaning / Washing Your Vintages
Hi Guys,Just curious on how you wash your vintage Rolexes. Both the head and bracelet. It is understood that for vintages it is best not to let it touch any water. So how do you clean these if dirt and gunk are all over?Any ideas?
