Veraet Watch Cleaning & Care + Special Deals
When you collect watches, or even have just one "beloved" watch that you own, there are a few key things you need to know about. These include where to get your watch serviced, where to buy new bracelet/straps, and how to clean your watch. Watch brands make it really easy for you to know about new watches to buy, but leave out information about these other things, and most watch retailers aren't much help to be honest. So today I am gonna discuss cleaning your watches. Specifically, with items from a newer company called Veraet. Perhaps watch tidiness is not as important as a watch that is working - but nevertheless you'll want to know about products that help you keep your timepieces clean. While there is nothing magical or ultra-unique about Veraet products, they do a good job of taking the worry out of cleaning watches, and presenting products specifically made for the purpose in nice easy to get kits. For example, their watch cleaning solution spray and brush are specially formulate
AP Jumbo 15202... Steel or Red Gold
Hi Guys,Need help deciding between the AP Jumbo 15202 Steel and Red Gold.I really like the weight and look of the Red Gold with blue dial but the original steel version is also to die for.The price of the RG is obviously much higher but given the choice based on looks alone which do you think is better. Here is a pic of the Steel Jumbo, unfortunately did not click the RG when I tried it on.Thanks
My "greatest regret from not buying" moment...
For some reason, perhaps an unhealthy combination of booze and pills (totally kidding about that), I was having a remembering my greatest regret from not buying moment this evening and it turns out that it was actually over an Omega. About nine years ago (you know, when MSRP on a Seamaster 300M chronometer was $1,750), when I was still in college, I was in a jeweler in my home town and what did they have left in their case? A NOS Omega Dynamic chronograph. Retail on it was something ridiculously low, like $895 and I could have gotten a decent discount on it, but for a guy in school it still seemed like too much. Then, the other day I saw a used one for $1,250... So, anyone else have a moment like this?
Will the steel bracelet from a 5167 fit the 5165?
Hello,I just sold one of my AP's to fund my grail watch which is the AP 26300 panda. My real grail is the 5167 on bracelet but do not have the patience to save up another 5-6K. I have skinny wrist (6.75 inches) so I believe the 5165 would fit me better and it is cheaper. I am not a big fan of the rubber strap but I do love the new style SS bracelet on the 5167. When I look up all 5165 I NEVER see them on the SS bracelet so I am beginning to think they where never sold with one. My question is will the bracelet from the 5167 fit on the 5165?Thank you.
Paul Newman Daytona auction
I recently watched the $18 mil auction video. I was wondering why would a person bid $10mil right at the start (I'm sure insanely rich people don't way to pay alot for an item). Do auctioneers/sellers actually shill their items?
