Introducing: The HMX 'Black Badger, Or The Most Fun Watch We Saw At Baselworld 2016
I'm not sure the HMX "Black Badger" is a watch that needed to exist, and that could be exactly why MB&F and James Thompson decided it should. It's wonderfully mad, just like its creators. And it has the power to turn grown men into 10-year-old boys, blissfully unaware they are playing with a $50,000 object. 1 OF 10 Minutes after the new HMX was unveiled, we knocked our chairs back and hurriedly got on all fours and under the table to check out the luminescent capabilities of the watch. And we weren’t disappointed. 2 OF 10 We've known about James Thompson for a few years. Under the alias "Black Badger," the Canadian accessory designer has been making waves on Instagram, where he posts photographs of his rings glowing in the dark. His secret is a photoluminescent composite called AGT ULTRA. The material is capable of emitting a "passive glow" that can last up to 40 percent longer than SuperLuminova C but it requires a very strong charge of light. His
Back in the AP family
Some may remember my post from last summer regarding the unfortunate incident in Barcelona with my Bartorelli.I have been without an AP since then but have strived to correct that situation. Finally landed this one and couldn't be happier, even at 39mm it feels great!!!!!!!!Thanks for looking!
What's a fair price...?
Apologies if this is the wrong area for this question, so mods, please feel free to move if this should go in the classified section.I am considering selling a few of my Omega watches to fund the purchase of another Rolex. In particular, my Omega Planet Ocean Ref 2201.51. I am the original owner and still have the original box, manual and warranty cards. Does anyone know what a fair price to ask would be and whether or not I should have the bracelet refinished through Omega prior to selling? Images below for reference:PO3.jpgPO4.jpgPO1.jpg

Great job Rolex! Merry Christmas
So I have been in no less than eight AD's in the past two weeks and I can tell you firsthand that with the exception of the Rolex boutique in Miami they all had just about nothing to sell. Total empty shelves. That and everyone of them said they had just about no hope of getting anything for Christmas to sell either. Rumor is Rolex hit all its sales goals and therefore they aren't very concerned about shipping more product this year. I personally have no idea why that's just what some of the smaller AD's are telling me. I can also tell you this. I know the owners of a couple of these small places and they tell me it's financially devastating not have an extremely strong Christmas season selling Rolex. They count on it every year. I can't speak for the bigger places I visited because the salesman had no idea when I asked how it was affecting their overall business. So if you guys are planning on getting a Rolex for Christmas you're either going to go with a Date Just from an AD or
