A. Lange & S?hne has revealed the first of its new timepieces to be launched at January’s SIHH watch fair in Geneva: the Grand Lange 1 Lumen. A limited edition of 100 pieces, the watch features two firsts for the German luxury brand: a luminous outsize date and a partially transparent dial.The watch comes in a platinum case and has a dial with sections made of semi-transparent sapphire crystal; only the outer ring and the surfaces of the subdials (one for hours and minutes, the other for small seconds) are made of blackened silver. The sapphire areas reveal the disk mechanism of the outsize date underneath the dial. The big date, a hallmark of the Lange 1 family of watches, is the first one that? glows in the dark, along with the time and the power reserve display. The Lange outsize date was inspired by the Five-Minute Clock in Dresden's Semper Opera House, to which brand namesake Ferdinand A. Lange contributed his expertise in 1841. Just got my bracelet from Heru and it rocks! Initially got my Diver from him also Bracelet oozes quality and heft! I really like the matte finish with those chamfered edges. Still getting used to the butterfly clasp though Thanks for looking!

Cheapest PP Perpetual Calendar with a Second Hand
I'd love a Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar, but I'm not willing to settle for a watch without a second hand.From what I can see (Chrono24), the cheapest model that's a full perpetual calendar with a second hand is the 5059G. Going rate seems to be > $40,000 USD.Are there any other models people would recommend to keep an eye out for?Thanks.

114060 How Thin Does it Wear?
This question is for all you thin watch fanatics like me...How thin does the 114060 wear in YOUR experience?After owning an ETA Black Bay for well over a year I'm ready to let it go for a Rolex. Naturally, the watch I'm drawn to most is the 114060. I've tried it on a bunch of times and am seriously considering it. Do any of you feel that it's too tall? I love my Black Bay but my main complaint is that it's all midcase.Bonus question... to those of you who've owned 5 & 6 digit sub nds. Can you tell a difference on case height?Thank you!
