Grieb & Benzinger Create Unique Skeletonized Chronograph “The Blue Wave”
Grieb & Benzinger’s workshop has created a unique piece for the discerning collector, called The Blue Wave. The 46mm rose gold piece features a rare Minerva monopusher column wheel chronograph movement created circa 1925. The movement has been hand skeletonized, hand engraved, and hand guilloch��d in the Grieb & Benzinger style, resulting in a deeply-textured three-dimensional space that draws and holds the eye. In its heyday, Minerva was one of the finest chronograph makers in the world. They were among the first to incorporate a minute counter. Minerva named its company after the Roman goddess. What to do when boredom sets in?
Hey everyone... Havent posted on here in a lil while, hope everyone is wellI bought my blue dialed AP 25820 SS Perpetual Calendar last fall. I absolutely love it to death! After almost 8 months, I still LOVE looking at it! I'm kinda getting bored of it though (I think that's what it is) and often find myself looking to swap it out. Btw, this is a VERY long time for me to own the same watch.What do you guys (without a plethora of watches) do when you get bored of a watch? Currently my only other watch is a SS Yachty... My WG IWC Vintage Pilot only lasted a couple months with me. I hated the no date function, which I of course knew I would when I bought it Should I put it in the winder box and pull it out in a few weeks and see how I feel?

I am just back from Montego Bay. Was in the shops and a store call Bijoux had many top brands but no Rolex. I asked the mgr and he said they have Rolex in their port store (for the cruise ships). I had him call about any stainless sports models...they had the Sub Date and a James Cameron Deep Sea. He offered it to me at 5% off their msrp of $11750 USD. Could have bought it at $11,116. I know, that is a great deal and I could flip it, but I passed. They didn't have it in the store I was at and I would need to come back. Also didn't want to deal with customs (although very easy) and selling. Anyone going to Jamaica and is interested, they probably still have it.
