Hautlence Coming to North America
Swiss luxury watch brand Hautlence has announced a new agreement under which New York-based Totally Worth It will distribute Hautlence timepieces in the U.S.A. and Canada. Launched in 2004 and based in Neuchatel, Hautlence produces innovative and imaginative timepieces in small numbers. Totally Worth It distributes several niche brands in North America. Alexis Sarkissian, founder and chief executive officer of Totally Worth It, said in a media release: “Rarely opportunities arise to represent exceptional brands such as Hautlence and for experienced professionals to distinguish themselves and grow while providing personalized service to the trade and the most demanding collectors.”Sarkissian is a former former president of Roger Dubuis with twenty years of watch industry experience. 116655 + BLNR for BLRO
As the title suggests, I've been back and forth on this idea for the better part of the last year or so. The BLNR is more or less a daily for me, the 116655 is great for weekends... they make a pretty good combo. With the BLRO potentially on the way out, I'm having this internal debate again in my mind. There is no deal in the works, but I think a straight up trade is pretty fair based on what I've seen in the secondary market.I mentioned BLNR as a daily, but I do rotate frequently during the weeks too, and would like to consolidate my smallish collection to some extent; ideally dropping two sports watches for one and picking up a dress piece. Thoughts?

Off polish job.. or am I seeing things?
So I did the unthinkable. After enjoying my watch for a year and a half, al all of the scratches along with it, I got it polished after a series of superficial scuffs caused by getting my dog out of the carI took it to a well known ad in town and this is what I got back. Something isn't quite right to my eye. I have a sinking feeling I am going to need to send this off to get corrected. What do you all think? Where should I send it if it needs to be corrected? Do I leave well enough alone?I instructed them to only do the band and not the watch itself.
