So, I am interested in the APROO 44MM
Guys help me out here. Already have an APROO Diver but really am interested in one of the 44MM models. I really like the flat pushers and wouldn't mind ceramic bezel to minimize the damages from desk dives. What are the pros and cons between the Steel, Forged Carbon, and Ceramic version?
Patek 5711/5712 blue dial
I have read a lot about these particular models, however have not seen one (yet) in the flesh.A question for those that own these models, is the blue dial really that captivating? from pictures that I have seen, the blue hue does seem to vary, depending on the lighting. Is it really that special? What Is the general consensus on the White dial 5711?Any thoughts?
Calatrava tougher then you think....
Although I wouldn't subject it to the abuse a Rolex Sub or Speedy pro can take, in the month since I received my 5296 it has been subject to the following.1. Showing off in front of my wife on a carnival high striker with a mallet hammer.. I forgot the watch was on my wrist....2. Being swept off my night table by our Cat....part one....3. Being swept off my night table by our Cat.....part twoFirst fall was from a three foot height on to a rug with a thick padding beneath it.Second fall was a little more serious as it resulted in light scratches on the 9:00 side of the case.... 98 percent of which were taken off by a cape cod cloth. The remainder can wait for a visit to Patek. The watch still runs at plus 5 a day as it did the day it came home from the AD.I don't recommend this treatment on a regular basis ( The Patek now sleeps in my pocket square and golf sock drawer in order to escape the Cat..) but it is good to know these watches are not as fragile as a lot of us think.
Took a little break...
but now its back on the wrist! I haven't worn my 372 for the last 3-4 months because I'm not a fan of how leather feels during the summer heat and humidity. Almost flipped it because of the lack of wrist time but I'm glad I didn't. I feel like I've fallen in love all over again
Beautiful the new GMT Master
I do not understand many Forum commentators. For years they have been desperate because Rolex launched the GMT Pepsi and now I read them disenchanted.IMHO I think the new models are very nice and hopefully they have been successful with the new movement so that the watches are more accurate and are more time running when they are not used for a couple of days..
