Ball Marks Adoption Of Standard Time With New Trainmaster Watch

Prior to 1883 however, that was something that didn't exist. It's been 130 years since the United States adopted Standard Time and the railroads consolidated 70 different time zones into the four we have today. It was also around that time that a jeweler by the name of Webster Clay Ball decided to utilize the signals emitted by the US Naval Observatory, setting the chronometers in his display window by the signal. This eventually led to Ball's official involvement with the railroads, and brings us to the soon-to-be released watch that celebrates that 1883 milestone.The watch in question is the Ball Trainmaster Standard Time, it's no mystery how they arrived at that name. My AP trio...
Started in AP several years ago with a ROO RG rubberclad then added a 41mm RG RO on bracelet. Last year added the Ti Schumi, 44mm RG and let go of the RG rubberclad and 41mm RO. Just added the ROO RG bracelet a couple of weeks ago. I think this combination will stick for a while!

Breitling - what would be your choice of a first "classical" piece?

Speedmaster Pro panda dials
After 30+ years of serial watch buying, I somehow skipped over the Speedy Pro until just a couple months ago and I am mildly addicted already. I picked up a NIB Pro and was then reading as much as I could about them.That led me to the Mitsukoshi dial mod and I sourced the dial and handset which are getting scarcer every day. I got my watch swapped over last week and although I love the standard black dial the new white panda dial with silver handset is stunning. I know there have been several white and white panda dial variations but the only reverse panda I'm aware of is the recent Speedy Tuesday. Have there been any others in the past?
