New SS and RG ROO
How do you guys like the new SS and RG ROO's? I find them awesome, I think I am gonna get one of them, not sure which one but they are really hot, I think the RG is my favorite but the SS with the grey dial is really cool, anyways they won't be out for at least 6-8 months, but one thing is sure, I am getting one of them, is the RG will probably sell my 5167R as I don't want 2 RG's, but in SS that's fine won't sell anything.Anyone planning on getting one?
Omega SMP Olympic Edition 2010

Sign of the times or another reason???
Yesterday, two other friends and myself took ourselves of to London for a few hours, to visit as many AD and vintages shops in Bond Street including Old & New Bond Street. Now for those who know that area, will appreciate that there are several Patek Philippe AD's including their Boutique. Now for the first time ever, I saw pieces in the window, that would a couple of years ago, already had buyers or were kept in the safeThese included pieces across the board such as PC's AC's WT, Chronographs.Models such as: 5140 all metals, 5159, the new PC from last year, 5960P both coloured dials, 5170J, 5130, 5726, 5205, 5980, 5712 etc etc.And this wouldn't be in just one storte but most of themNow is this beacuse of our current favourite phrase Economic Climate, or that AD's are stocking up or that they are just tooooooooo expensive or maybe another reasonOn a slightly different note, I visited the new watch department in Harrods and found it to be a HUGE improvement over their previous one. The a call from my dealer yesterday.....
Hi GuysYou know you don't normally get calls from your Rolex dealer and when they do call you, it is usually to tell you that your watch has arrived. Well, I got a missed call from my favorite dealer yesterday. Since there is only one watch that I am waiting/on the list for, I thought OMG, my White dial Daytona C is here!!!. I called back on the owner's cellphone. He answered and said I got good news for you, young man!, You are first on the list for the new SS GMT II if you want it!. Honestly.. I was a... little disappointed, but it was ok. After all, it has only been about 8 months since I got on the waiting list. So I put a small deposit down and now I am first to get the Rolex SS Pepsi I just hope the Daytona doesn't show up too soon
Datejust 116200 oyster clasp
New to the forum, here to ask a question about a concern over my datejust 116200 oyster clasp. I tried to pull out the easy link extension but forgot which part of the clasp the extension was located, I basically pulled on the part that anchors to close the clasp only to realize a few seconds later that The easy link extension was on the opposite side. My question is, how strong/durable is the side of the clasp that I pulled, physically the clasp is working fine but would like to hear anyone who knows more about it.
