For years, one of the signatures of Ulysse Nardin has been its fine GMT watch. The Dual Time models have a legible dial with just two center-mounted hands, making for a simple, intuitive reading of the time in multiple locations. In 2014, the brand re-released the Dual Time with an important advancement: an in-house movement produced in UN’s Le Locle factory. At this year’s Baselworld, the brand added two more versions of the Dual Time Manufacture, including a nautically-themed limited edition. Both new versions of the Dual Time Manufacture come in a 42-mm gold case. It is water resistant to 30 meters. The watches maintain the dial layout of their predecessors: local time is shown by the center-mounted hour and minutes hands, with small seconds at 6 o’clock. 44mm IO vs 42mm mustard
Tried these on at the AD... how do you guys think they look? I am liking the fit of the titanium but the RG on the 42 looks more attractive on me, in my opinion. It might just be that shiny things attract me, but I am drawn by the thickness of the case as well. The mustard to me, as I am seeing many people refer to it as, is actually not too offputting to my eye as I know many members do not quite get a sensational feeling with it. I think pictures do not do it justice, however I do think I would prefer rubber over the leather. On the other hand, the titanium looks awesome and could be more dedicated as a daily. Almost inclined to pick one of these up. Looking forward to any honest inputs!Thanks!

Buying AP origins Jamaica
Guys - I am considering buying a previous owned AP Panda which originates from Jamaica. Watch was originally purchased Nov 2012 and appears to have all paperwork and guarantees appropriately stamped and the retailer checks back to 'Jewels in Paradise' who are listed as an AP authorised dealer.My questions are : Is a Nov 2012 watch likely to be a good or bad one Ser no H75XXXXAnything I need to look out for apart from the obvious that it is genuine ? Going to have to sell my Rolex Daytona and an Omega 8500 to fund so I am keen to cover all bases.Finally, any issues with provenance / warranty coming from Jamaica Thanks in advance

Patek rotor noise question....
Hello all here at TRF! I have a question for all the Patek owners out there. I recently purchased a Calatrava 5127 and absolutely love the piece. It keep amazing time (+1 second per day!) and looks great on the wrist. However, I've noticed that I hear the rotor quite a bit when my wrist moves. Obviously that's the winding mechanism in action....I'm just surprised how much I can hear it compared to my AP, Rolex, Lange and other automatic pieces.So my question to all of you is.....is this normal? I could take it in and have it looked at, but I'm guessing one of you experts here on TRF will be able to tell me if that is just a characteristic of PP, or something I need to be concerned about.Thanks in advance!

Buying Advice
So a few years ago my grandfather passed me his 1962 Tudor sub from his EOD days. I felt so blessed to have that and enjoy wearing it so much that I decided to do the same if I had a son. Well last week I found out I was having a son, so I convinced the wife to let me shop. I have a few options that I'd love some advice on. The intention is to pass down this watch and I'd like a close to the Tudor as I can afford with some modern conveniences like a sapphire crystal. So I came across the 14060 as the closed modern relative to the Tudor I have. Should I:1) Get a new ceramic sub even though I'm not a 100% fan of the fit and bezel2) Get the newest/nicest 14060 I can find to take advantages of the modern conveniences and vintage look3) Seek out the newest/nicest 14060 with tritium so it can patina like my Tudor and most of the wear will be from meSo if you were in my shoes what would you do?
