The Ulysse Nardin Dual Time Manufacture Gets 2 New Looks
For years, one of the signatures of Ulysse Nardin has been its fine GMT watch. The Dual Time models have a legible dial with just two center-mounted hands, making for a simple, intuitive reading of the time in multiple locations. In 2014, the brand re-released the Dual Time with an important advancement: an in-house movement produced in UN’s Le Locle factory. At this year’s Baselworld, the brand added two more versions of the Dual Time Manufacture, including a nautically-themed limited edition. Both new versions of the Dual Time Manufacture come in a 42-mm gold case. It is water resistant to 30 meters. The watches maintain the dial layout of their predecessors: local time is shown by the center-mounted hour and minutes hands, with small seconds at 6 o’clock. SD43 bracelet sizing.
Hi all,I recently replaced my Deepsea with a SD43, I loved the Deepsea but it was just a little too thick for my wrist.My SD43 was sized in the AD with 4 1/2 links on the 6 o clock side and 3 1/2 links with the divers extension on the 12 o clock side. Glide lock is one click from fully in and the bracelet fits great for size. This leaves me with 3 spare links.I'm thinking of removing the divers extension to get a little more curvature, have many of you done this or left it as standard with divers extension installed? I know a lot did it with DS. My wrist size is 6.75 but pretty flat. For anyone with a similar wrist size, how many links have you got at each side to balance the bracelet?Also I never really took notice at the AD before it was sized but does anyone know how the bracelets come from the factory, is it 5 1/2 links at 6 o clock and the rest at 12?Many thanks. :)
