Usually when big brands present co-branded watches, whether with fictional crime-fighting superheroes or prominent aviation firms, there tends to be a what is perhaps a fair amount?of eye-rolling on the part of watch enthusiasts. In essence, these co-branding exercises tend to be much more about quick marketing, buoyed by lots and lots of legal paperwork. I don't think that the Bulgari Octo Maserati is necessarily an exception to this rule, but there is undoubtedly something to say about the understated way that this old Italian brand continues its partnership?with, well, another old Italian brand �C Maserati �C to present a?limited edition timepiece in?celebration of their shared anniversaries in 2014. How on earth would... someone use a press drill on a 15300 bracelet ?
Hi guys,Need your help here. Let's just say I am facing a situation I never imagined would occur in my entire life of WIS. The watch I am about to get is... having a drilled hole in the bracelet, on the portion where it is fixed and not a removable link. I was expecting small scratches at worst, some hairlines but a drilled bracelet...What do you guys think ? Do you think APSC will be able to fix that or I will end up buying a new bracelet ?

I can't believe I waited this long, what a cracking watch. I bought the new 005 (hesalite) model, which I know some say is expensive, and partly paying for a useless box, but I got it at a very good price from a non-authorised dealer (I can live without the AD ��500+ cup of tea!), and the box of goodies does add a bit to the experience. I do think this watch is good value regardless, compared to most other luxury watches anyway. I'm really pleased I went for the hesalite version - the dial is surprisingly clear as a result, although I don't really notice the often talked about attractive distortion (which seems about the same as a sapphire box crystal to me). It's well built and nicely finished, fits me beautifully in my opinion and is super comfortable as a result, and so far at least keeps really good time (+5 s/d).

Part of my daily rotation.I jist love the micro electromechanical engineering. A seconds hand that ticks 300 times a second?! Just amazing.

An Omega Story
Wonderful Early Christmas Present...I was just given an Omega X-33 by my closest friend (since first grade). It was his personal watch that he purchased through his Squadron at NAS Oceana (VFA-81). He's worn it in combat, as a Top Gun instructor, an F-18 Instructor, and an F-5 aggressor pilot. He recently left the Navy at the rank of Lt. Cmdr and has known for quite some time my affliction for all things watches and decided that I would be a great person to give the watch too. It needs a movement service (hopefully with an upgrade to the newest version) and new crystal but I told Omega to leave all the dings, scratches, etc alone as they are representative as the life this watch has lead. Needless to say I feel honored and blessed that he would give me this piece of Aviation, Naval, and friendship history to me.My X-33 has returned from Omega service.
