Acquanaut Tropical Straps
Guys, quick bit of help needed re the colour variations for tropical straps for the 5167 and 5164. Green - made for the 5167 but also fits the 5164 with a slight gapIs the blue that fits the 5164 made for the 5650G or 5168G? Has anyone managed to order one from an AD to put on - 5164. Does it fit on a 5167? Thanks in advance

Which of these two full SS Nautilus models would you choose and why?5980/1A-0145726A/1A-001Personally, I think the aesthetics of the Annual version are impeccable, but it is less useful to me than a chronograph, which I can use throughout my career on assessment instruments (Thus, why I have so many chronos in my collection...). On the other hand, I don't have an annual in my collection yet, and I do think the aesthetics of this particular model are immaculate.

So the delivery day for my watch was either yesterday or today. It didn't arrive yesterday so i knew it would arrive today. I waited for a few hours then saw a card by the door which read sorry we missed you, you can arrange to pick up your parcel or call for another delivery day. The delivery man didn't press the bell and just knocked on the door which i didn't hear. Well i wasn't going to let my new watch sit in a depot till Monday. I called and the receptionist said my parcel would be back in the depot for back up by 17:30. I went to get the parcel. This is my first Panerai and it is lovely. I am a Rolex fan boy and i always will be. DJII is next but this one adds a nice bit of variety to the collection and can have some fun with some straps.Here are the pics. 6917 (DJ) Question
My wife has expressed an interest in a watch. Issues is, what she likes (size/style) wise is (in my opinion) overpriced unless it's been redone by a jeweler with aftermarket dial/bezel. Question is: How terrible is to have a (ladies) watch with a non-factory dial/bezel? I understand the pitfalls of Rolex service and their policy on non-factory parts. But, beyond that? There are several to be had in the less than $3K range right now on Ebay (for instance). I have bought twice from sellers here but the ladies watches don't seem to be that popular for resale/gray market sales so not much luck there. It's between a DJ with aftermarket (diamond) bezel and MOP dial..... or a 29mm Yacthmaster which would come 100% complete and correct with all boxes/paperwork. The difference between the two price wise doesn't matter all that much to me. Thoughts?
