Ronnie Wood, Armin Strom, and Virgin Racing Team Up
Armin Strom, Official Timing Partner of the Virgin Racing Formula One Team, has announced that it will participate in an art project with the Ronnie Wood. Best known as a Rolling Stone, Ronnie is also an artist, and during 2011 he will paint a Virgin Racing Formula 1 car, an Armin Strom watch, and a Virgin Racing driver's helmet. The Armin Strom Art Watch will be auctioned at the 2011 Only Watch exhibition and sale in Monaco. After the September auction, a limited series of 25 watches, similar to the one created by Ronnie but crafted by Armin Strom, will be manufactured and offered for sale.The second part of the project, Ronnie's “Art Car” will be seen during the year at several public events as a static display, and a replica of the car may see action in non-F1 events such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Vacheron Constantin organized an elegant evening at the Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York as part of the inauguration of African and Oceanic Art from the Barbier-Mueller Museum, Geneva: a Legacy of Collecting , an exhibition dedicated to the masterpieces from the Barbier-Mueller family collection and supported by Vacheron Constantin. 250 guests enjoyed dinner and witnessed the world-first presentation of the 4 latest M��tiers d'Art Les Masques timepieces. Something Weird Happened
Hello Friends,Tonight after wearing my Omega 3570.50 for three days (received the watch on Tuesday) and noticing how it was only gaining 2 seconds per day, suddenly I looked at my watch this evening and it was 1 hour behind. Don't know when this happened or why, but the real time was 9:45pm, but the watch was showing 8:45pm. I know I'm supposed to wind the watch everyday, and I've been doing that except it's been in the evening and not the morning, simply because I forget in the morning. Anyone have any idea what happened? Thanks in advance.
