Watches NEWS
Specs of Vacheron Constantin Malte Power Reserve Date
The case is 38 mm in diameter, giving the shows an intermediate position in the line of Malta. Malta-innovative Date power reserve will certainly appeal to the traditional watches connoisseurs and lovers of timepieces designed for refined life. The model is presented in two versions - 18 K white or pink gold - and has a dial silver in contemporary work Guilloche optimizing readability. This model was the screw-down back and is waterproof to 30 metres.
Picture thread. AP spotting
There is a long ongoing photo thread on the general Rolex forum with celebrities or other famous/well known people wearing Audemars Piguet so I thought it was time for that thread over here as well! :-)Kicking it off with a photo I just saw over at paneristi, one of the regulars is a photographer and this is from a magazine cover shoot with Dr Sanjay Gupta. The good doctor obviously has great taste as he is wearing a Panda. [Photo cred: Brad Trent, on the left in the photo]
Mark II Dial and Hand Replacement Job, Who Will Do It?
Any idea who would be willing to swap a dial and hand on a '69 Mark II; seems that most of my local guys are scared to touch it.
Happy camper...
Nothing I really like. I'd gone for a steel 36mm with new movement but they are only launching it in two-tone watches. The GMT is a bit too showy, but I may warm up to it. Rather uneventful year.
