Bucherer introduced its first TravelTec watch, equipped with both a chronograph and triple-time-zone display. At Baselworld 2015, the brand commemorated the occasion with the launch of the bigger, bolder Patravi TravelTec II.Two main aspects distinguish the Carl F. Bucherer Patravi TravelTec II from its predecessors, the original TravelTec and the skeleton-dialed TravelTec FourX. One is the case size: CFB has made the case larger (47.7 mm in diameter compared to the original’s 46.6 mm) and slightly thicker (15.9 mm, up from 15.5 mm) �� a somewhat bold and contrarian design choice for this era in which so many watch brands are opting to go thinner and more understated in their next-generation line extensions. Omega 2254.50 Pre-owned Value?
Hello,I have a Omega 2254.50 which I'm considering selling. I bought the watch in 2002 and have lost the box and papers. I do have the extra links though. The watch was serviced two-years ago. It has never really kept great time, it is currently losing 17 seconds a day. Based on the attached pics, what do you think I could sell this for? Review and Details of New PO and SMP Prototypes at Omega Boutique L.A.
Today I went to the Omega Boutique in Los Angeles to check out the new Planet Ocean Ceramic and Seamaster Pro Ceramic. Before I post the details, I would like to thank the employees of Omega Boutique Los Angeles who brought out the watches for me to inspect personally and answered all my questions and were very, very helpful and patient. I was very impressed by their level of service.I was informed that the Omega Boutique Los Angeles is the only boutique in the United States to have these watches. They have most of the BaselWorld 2011 watches, but not all of them. The watches are stamped not for resale on the inside of the clasp and are in fact prototypes and have no serial numbers on the lugs. These prototypes are supposed to tour the boutiques in the U.S. I did not take my digital camera because I thought I would not be allowed to take pics.....I was right :)Now on to the details, I'll start with my favorite........Omega Seamaster Professional (Blue dial) 41mmRef. Thinking about a Pam563
I've been thinking about a Pam563.I have almost exclusively dark dials and was looking at a white explorer when WHAM! Out of nowhere this white dialed 8 day appears on my radar. The ExpII just didn't do it for me on the wrist. I think it's the font on the bezel.I'm not a flipper and realize it's (white dials) not a doll of the Paneristi but there's something about it. Classic case shape, manual wind, 8 day, etc, etc. and no ridiculous snap back nonsense. There's not much to see so I don't care either way about a display back.Am I nuts to get a white dial when I don't even have one of the classics?If I did flip it, I probably wouldn't do very well, but I can get it for at least 20% off, so that takes care of some of the depreciation.Any 563 love stories out there?
