Carl F. Bucherer Marks 125 Years With New Manero Tourbillon Limited Edition
This year marks 125 years since Swiss jeweler Carl Friedrich Bucherer opened up his first watch and jewelry shop in Lucerne, on the way to designing and creating his first timepiece in 1919. To commemorate the anniversary, the modern Carl F. Bucherer watch brand has launched the new Manero Tourbillon Limited Edition.Carl F. Bucherer has created many complicated watches, including models with power-reserve displays, chronographs, and even a perpetual calendar and the company makes its own manufacture movement, but this will be the brand’s first tourbillon timepiece. The hand-wound tourbillon movement, Caliber CFB T1001, makes its debut in the brand’s Manero collection, which CFB describes as emphasizing “classical elegance.” The tourbillon, which is on display in an opening at 6 o’clock on the dial, is obviously the central attraction, but Carl F. Bucherer’s watchmakers have packed several other complications into the new watch as well. The date is
First post. First timepiece. First AP Jumbo 15202
Hi everyone - this is my first post here, I recently acquired my first ever timepiece! I have been wanting a timepiece since 2009, I went through many phases over the years and almost pulled the trigger on a IWC Pilot Chrono and PAM111. I was in love with AP 25940SK at one point but it was out of my price range. I am quite happy that I didn't and held out for this long. I knew I would be settling for something I eventually would grow out of and I did. My taste has evolved tremendously and through more and more research I become more and more intrigued with AP. Last year I did tremendously well in the stock market so I decided to reward myself. Here is how I narrowed down my choice, i considered a few watches in my price range the 15400st blue dial, 15400OR black dial, 15202, PP 5711a and the Daytona rose gold black dial. I was pretty set on the 15400st but I wasn't able to find the blue dial since it was boutique only (lucky me) as time went on I did more research, collectors and puris
Speedmaster 105.003
The 'Ed White' 105.003 is one of my grails. I've only been researching & on the look-out for one for about 6 months, so I'm not adequately confident of my instincts to buy one from eBay yet, but this one looks good to me:.ebay.co.uk/itm/1964-Vinta...item3a77a4136eNot perfect condition, but looks honest to me & that's what I'd want. I've checked the numbers in various reference tables & they all seem good.I'd love to know your opinions on it, so that when the time eventually comes, I know whether I can trust my instincts.PS. I also reckon that if the buyer tonight gets it for around 2500 they'd have done pretty well. Anyone disagree?
PAM 326 blue face titanium chrono?
Hope everyone is well. I'm considering selling my 326, as I want to make room for some other things. It was my first Panerai, then I got the dirty dial, PAM 24 and the PAM 88. I think I burned out! it is 46/500 and is spectacular condition. I'm curious about the general level of interest in this watch. I never see it on the street, is it a rare piece? General value suggestions or opinions would be welcome. I originally bought it used at Tourneau so I have a receipt, and a wood box. No papers. Check out some photos!
I Cant Decide!
I'm the first on the list at my AD for the new Deepsea D-Blue 126660. After visiting this past week, I am now told it won't be coming until at least summer and that his Rolex rep has told him the Fall. My AD thinks it'll be here sometime in the summer. However, I've been thinking of a SS YM2 pretty much all the time. I want the D-Blue too though and even tried a Deepsea on the other week and loved it on my wrist. Any thoughts on what I should do? Unfortunately at this time, I can't buy both as I'm planning on building a deck for my new home or I would already have bought the YM2 while waiting on my D-Blue
