Anyone have a blackout edition diver?
Don't care to start a debate on whether it is sacreligious to modify an OEM watch. Saw this on the net and thought it was gorgeous but cannot find any additional pics. Would be cheaper to just have the watch DLC'ed and enamel hands custom painted by a reputable aftermarket modder. IWW might do the trick. Anyone have any thoughts?i1.wp/megadeluxe/wp-c...size=700%2C482
Swatch v Tiffany
Thought this may be of interest to other Omega fans:BBC TEXT service stating that Swatch and Tiffany are suing each other following the collapse of their production deal.States that in 2007 Swatch agreed to produce watches under the Tiffany brand and that they would share the profits, however, last year Swatch ended the deal accusing Tiffany of blocking the development of buisiness. Sit down before reading the sums of money involved........Swatch is suing for 2.6bn. Tiffany has launched a counter claim. That's a lot of Planet Oceans!
Went diving and by clasp got stuck
I went diving in Peurto Rico. Wore my Titanium SMP. Afterwards, I sat on the beach for a while. When I went back to the hotel, I could not get my watch off. The clasp was filled with sand! Never had this problem with any of my Rollies. Took 2 days to shake the sand loose, then I rinsed out the rest of the sand for 30 minutes under the sink till it all came out. Wow!I always liked the omega clasp better than Rolex, but after this, I swear only to wear a Sub for diving.Bummer!
Thoughts on Omega 3211.31
Looking for another watch on days that I do not want to wear my Sub Date. Looking to flip my TT white dial SMP for this beauty. Any thoughts?
Hulk won't change date-now what??
Hi, Title kind of says it all. My Hulk will not change dates automatically after it goes past midnight. Even after I manually wind the minute hand around, it does not switch over. I have tried it for several revolutions of the minute hand to make sure. However, it does change when I manually pull out the stem to the first click, where that feature is JUST to change the date and the minute hand does not move. So, what is my procedure now. I bought it from DavidSW here and I have plenty of warranty left. Can I just bring it to an AD with my warranty card or do I need to send it to Rolex somewhere. Thanks for your help.
