AP Dress Watch
So, the wife and I are shopping in Toronto on the weekend (actually looking for a new wallet for her - least I could do after getting a new watch and new strap for me....) and we come upon a large watch retailer (Royal de Versailles - HUGE selection of watches). I suggest we pop in for a few minutes to just have a look. I am actually looking for her, although she doesn't know it. She pretty much turns up her nose at all the ladies watches, so I give up and start looking for another for me...... I have expressed my dislike for the Royal Oak here before, but along with a bunch of those and some tourbillons, I see a very plain dress watch in the Audemars Piguet display area. I move closer to have a look and see that it must be a vintage piece, which I didn't think this place normally carries. Crosswind got the "Oohs" and "Aahs" !!
Hi guys,Wore the Breitling to work today....and he got what he deserved....some oohs and aahs from the guys and gals at work. It's amazing how cleavages come to the forefront when a beautiful lass is trying to ogle at something dazzling on your wrist!!! All in all, the watch was met with much praise and admiration from one and all!! Now that I've got the chrono running (during wrist time at least), it looks so much better!!Cheers - Crazy JJ

Z-33 opinions
I stopped in at the Omega Boutique in Roseville California this evening and saw a really neat, futuristic looking piece in the window. Being a huge fan of sport watches and owning only divers, I thought I'd wander in to try it on....it turned out to be the Z-33, a titanium cased, battery powered chrono.I loved the style and feel, but the price surprised me a bit: $5,900! What do you guys think of an asking price that high for quartz? Is there any justification other than for the price?
