Watches NEWS
AP price drop!?!?
Someone just informed me AP just issued a price drop of 17%. Please tell me if this is true? Not sure if its on all models or just certain ones. I remember they did this a few years ago but I don't know if this is true that AP did this again??Any info would be great!
Pro II Bracelet Clasp Marking
Been trying to take one of those nearly impossible photos without a Macro lens, so sorry for the photo quality. This Pro 2 bracelet just came in on a new watch I acquired, all of the markings (date and model) are where they should be, and are appropriate, however the stamping on the clasp look off to mepared to my others they seem a little deeper/wider and not as clear... My others are Colt models so maybe the slightly narrower clasp creates a crisper lettering illusion. There is no bleed through on the stamping whatsoever on the backside.Does anyone see anything that I should be worried about, or am I just being too picky and looking for things?
New strap for 45mm PO
After over 3 months I finally received the call from the AD that my Omega rubber strap and deployant had arrived. Strap is # 98000366...Has a very nice curved fit to the case....The deployant is # 94522033...Interesting design; the tail of the strap is next to the wrist....I am puzzled by the pricing, however. These are BNIB parts and the AD charged me a total of $450 for the both of them. Seems like a good deal, almost too good. But that was what he quoted, I accepted, and I paid. I am really happy with this strap and deployant.....
The 007 connection with Omega
Please forgive me if this was posted before, but I just came across this today..chronocentric/omega/bond.shtml#bondIt is a worthwhile read!
Rolex Oyster Bracelet/Case Questions
Hi All,I just picked up a 2010 V Series Submariner and it has been awhile since I held a Submariner so I have a few questions if someone knows:Is the 91350 Bracelet heavier than the 92350 bracelet to me I say yes because the 92350 feels very light and like tin! Not too happy about this! Then would the case weight be different also if the bracelets are in fact lighter, does anyone know? Thanks
