For a long time, I didn't know how I felt about pilot's watches. For years, I found myself underwhelmed whenever another in a seemingly endless queue of "me too" models hit the market. Every brand was at it, and I couldn't figure out why. Then, quite by accident, I ended up with one on my wrist, and I finally got it. What followed was an irrational interest in the unusually large,?plain cases, enormous emergency pushers, proud onion crowns, and the bold dials that can be read from a block away (at night). The M��hle-Glash��tte Terrasport I Beobachter is not the easiest pilot's watch to read, but its integer-heavy display gives it an identifiability other more generic layouts sometimes lack. This watch is a simple three-hander with a centrally-mounted seconds hand. Last year I tried the ROO full 18k with bracelet and I thought that was the heaviest watch I ever tried on (yet to own) and I am very impressed. I always wonder exactly how heavy it is.. Dial is rotating
Hi guys. My friend has a problem with his dial. The watch keeps time and the watch hands stay in correct orientation with the watch case. But the dial turns and rotates. Any repair shops worth a look in Houston? Thanks

Does anyone know when the balance spring changed from Breguet to Spiromax? I've got a very late 2013 5980/1a and wondered whether this would have the silicon balance spring?
