Richard Mille Donates Rafael Nadal RM 027 to Only Watch Charity Auction
On September 22, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco will preside over the fourth Only Watch auction of exceptional watches. The proceeds of this event, organized by Antiquorum Auctioneers, will be used to fund research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy. To support this worthy cause, Richard Mille has contributed a unique and symbolic watch to be offered during this charity auction. Launched in 2005 by Luc Pettavino, President of the Monegasque Association Against Muscular Dystrophies, Only Watch mobilizes the world's most prestigious watchmakers who donate unique and limited pieces to be auctioned during the Monaco Yacht Show. All proceeds are used to fund research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy, an extremely debilitating neuromuscular disease that affects one boy in every 3500.Having supported Only Watch from the beginning, Richard Mille wanted to donate one of its most emblematic creations to Only Watch 2011: the RM 027 tourbillon developed for and in collaboration with Rafael Nadal. She is finally back from the Spa!!
Hey Everyone,After a couple of trips to Clearwater and around 5 months, I finally have my ROC back. I won't belabor the details for it's extended stay at APSC as I have already brought it up in another thread, but needless to say, I am excited to enjoy it for the rest of the summer. I ordered the conversion for the rubber strap for the warmer months and love the look and also the feel so far. Enjoy the day everyone (I know I will)!
first Breitling post SA/Isofrane content PICS!!
ok guys/gals.. i typically hang in the rolex area but i decided to give the Breitling some love today. I had this Isofrane strap laying around and thought its a shame to not use such (IMO) an expensive rubber strap. it tones the weight down a ton and makes for a real comfy fit. i must say while im not a HUGE fan of the design of the Isofrane, it is about the best quality rubber strap i have owned. now when they offer this in 20mm i will be picking one up for my Marathon SAR. feel free to give me some feed back but mainly posted these so you all could see a different look and it might be something someone might like to do to their SA. i bet you havent seen this combo. i dont hate it.

Pretty exciting being in patek club....
Hopefully you will be able to empathise....When I first went from omega (SMP) to rolex (sub date) I felt I'd just taken a step into a bigger world. I had no idea then, that I'd have the bug bite me so hard. Eventually, after about 6 years - I have traversed pretty much the whole collection. In some cases with several revisited references. Where I ended up was in no way even on the radar when I started. I was obsessed with the sub. Now I don't even have one. Just a c500Will it be the same with the patek? Just got a 5711.... But where might it go from here??Is there a predicted route within patek? Or from patek?
