SIHH 2014 Preview: Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept GMT Tourbillon
Audemars Piguet released its first Royal Oak Concept watch in 2002 with a case made of Alacrite 602. Another Concept model, in 2008, featured a forged carbon case, and the 2011 model combined a titanium case with a black ceramic bezel. Ahead of the 2014 SIHH watch fair in January, AP has unveiled the newest in the series, the Royal Oak Concept GMT Tourbillon, which adds a white ceramic bezel to the titanium case.The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept GMT Tourbillon features a bezel, crown and push-pieces in white ceramic (replacing the 2011 model’s black ceramic), contrasting with the sculpted titanium case middle. Audemars Piguet has also incorporated ceramic into the movement itself, using the material for the hourglass-shaped upper bridge, which serves to highlight the symmetry of the watch’s main attractions, its tourbillon and GMT display. Request for PAM 392 vs SubC size comparison
Hi All,I am debating between the 40mm PAM48 vs the 42mm PAM392.Anyone has a side by side comparison of the 392 vs the submariner or Speedmaster?Would like wrist shot and far away if possible.Max limit of my wrist is 40mm watch. Tried on the 44mm and it's a no go. PAM48 would fit, but wondering if it is too small, or the 392 is too big.I have a sub so the 392 vs sub would be appreciated.thanks!!!

Dual Incoming - Advice Requested!
TL;DR - Bought my fiancee a DJ36 (116234, MOP) and myself a 116613LB. I had to order the DJ36, so they're holding my bluesy in the safe until hers arrives as it is a gift for her. Need advice on how to gift it to her!Long Story...About 6 weeks ago I got the itch to celebrate a milestone in my career and bought a DJ41. At the time I was debating between a DJ41, Sub-Date, and Bluesy. I went with the DJ41 because I already owned a Breitling sports model and felt the DJ41 would be great for everyday where and dressing up. It does...perfectly, but that's where the problem began....I started to get the watch itch and spent way too much time on these forums. :) I knew that Bluesy was still calling my name and that I wanted her to have something nice as well - if anything to save my own butt! My fiancee and I are getting married in June and plan to start a family soon after so the idea of spending tens of thousands of dollars on watches seemed like something I better get out of the way soone

Just thought some of you might like to see the costs from Rolex New York for certain parts for a 14060 Submariner. Ws surprised at the affordability of the bezel insert at $48. I don't necessarily need the extra link, but for $60 I had them add one on to the list. This is for an overhaul for the Rolex I gave my Dad in 2002 for his 60th birthday that I got back when he passed away in 2015. Apparently my dad had left the crown unscrewed and the luminous was damaged and cracking on the dial and hands.
