AP Panda or Vacheron Constantin Overseas??
I'm considering my next piece - always wanted an AP Panda while at the same time, the VC OS has a very nice presence. My reservation is the movement of the VC. What do you all think? Which would you choose? Any insight as to which is constructed better, overall holorgy value?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1370225211.092713.jpgOrImageUploadedByTapatalk1370225222.340780.jpg
Breitling CROSSWIND review !!
Hi guys,Almost three days wearing this new Chronograph and here's what I think about it...I'll get straight down to the bare facts: Movement: Breitling 13 (Valjoux 7750 Chronograph/Chronometer)Power Reserve: minimum 42 hoursChronograph: 1/5th second, 30 minutes, 12 hoursVibrations/hr. & Jewels: 28,800 v.p.h., 25 jewelsCalendar: Dial apertureWater resistance: 100 m/330 ft.Bezel: Unidirectional, ratchetedCrown: Screw-locked, two gasketsCaseback: Screwed inCrystal: Cambered sapphire, glareproofed both sidesDiameter: 43 mmThickness: 15.5 mmWeight (only watch): 107.70 gramsInterhorn width: 22 mmBracelet: Pilot - SS all polished- Accuracy of the watch has been virtually spot on from day one.- Unlike the Rolex watches I have, time readability is sometimes a bit difficult in certain light. The STOPPED second hand can get confusing at times, but I've been strongly advised by a true expert NOT to keep the Chrono function running - just to use it when necessary.- the white dial and Roman num
Amazing accuracy 2531.80
My Seamaster Professional 300m (2531.80) hadn't been getting much wrist time in the past year for whatever reason. I travel a lot, and always wear my Rolex GMT Master II (16710 with a Pepsi bezel) when on a business trip. I like to easily see my home time zone at a glance without thinking. At home, I generally wear my Seiko Marinemaster (SBDX001) as a daily wearer. It has a great wrist presence and wears nicely for its large size. I felt nostalgic for the Seamaster, and have been wearing it the past two weeks while on vacation. I had it last serviced by Omega three years ago, and it's keeping great COSC time. I set it to the atomic clock and have been checking it daily at the same time. It's running at +.01 sec / day. The 1120 movement is simply amazing. I love this watch and will never sell it.
Ref and authenticity?
Hi Patek lovers,Saw this a couple weeks ago and was wondering what everyone's thoughts were re: reference and authenticity?I've gone through countless google images of Calatravas and have only seen one similar (12, 3, 6, and 9 hands being slightly longer). Haven't been able to pinpoint the reference though.Unfortunately didn't have time to check the case back or movement last time. Will make sure to do so next time, hopefully get some pics. What markers should I be looking out for in mov't and case back to ensure authenticity? But based on dial, what do you think? Thanks
what kind of cloth to clean plexi?
I know poly watch is the go to for polishing but what about everyday spot cleaning? Will a drop of water and a cotton tshirt work or will that leave swirls? Any ideas?thx
